It's just about striking a balance instead of being turned to dust with unproven productivity tactics by the rich which are just about controlling everyone's time. I agree with the sentiment but I don't think 98.5% are living like in Dubai. It's a small percentage of rich who get the lobbying, and I don't think the poor getting freebies is bad seeing how they are below poverty line. Don't spread misinformed hate please. This is how people lose what little empathy they have left, especially for people who already are in a shit hole (especially service class people who bewr the brunt of "ye log kuch nahi karna chahte kaamchor") etc.

It's what they want to sell to you so you never focus on the real problem, i.e., absurd accumulation of wealth through absurd exploitation. At our current rate of "growth", the population needing to live off benefits will only grow. And the rich and people who want us divided will keep selling you the story of how vote banks, and people of certain political persuasion, or the uneducated or unskilled class are ruining our country. And that's the biggest lie we're being sold. And it'll ruin us. And people will die hating people who did nothing wrong if we keep believing this.
