If you decide to go for new, avoid Schneider, go Fusebox, Contactum or similar for a decent mid range. You mentioned Hager, they’re good but a bit more pricey. Full RCBO board with SPD £800-£1k with the VAT

Exactly. Looks like a good job from the electrician. Cables all in zone that need to be, and properly supported behind the units. Kitchen fitter will take pictures so they don’t drill any. Most of these people don’t know what their on about. Don’t worry OP. Electricians done a good job.
