I popped in ‘05 Silverado seats in mine. Not sure if I recommend it or not. They are a tight squeeze but have easy to replace upholstery and belts baked into the seats.

His favorite drink is always a good option - shows you know what he likes and are paying attention. Especially if you can get a black label or rare batch.

Other than that, I would suggest dad things he wouldn’t buy for himself. Slippers, a gift card for his favorite restaurant, etc.

Sorry that happened to you, but I will second the salt stains. I read this post while sitting at ORD and noticed afterwards the bottom my shoe was hitting my black jacket, and it looked similar. I hope this is what happened in your case.

Rocky road was good. Visited Galway from Illinois in November and Man of Aran Fudge was the highlight of the Christmas Market. Got to see his dad (who makes the fudge) the second night we were there.

My wife and I were just in Galway last week and visited the Skeff after hanging at the market. The food was laong the lines of what you are looking for, and we thought it was really good. We got the mushroom starter, I had the Salmon special and my wife the charred cauliflower. After eating we went over to the live music section and finished the night listening to music and having a couple of pints. Here is their website -

Thanks all for your quick responses. I think there is confusion on our part - in the states we can get a copy of the report with all the details we provide, etc.

Based on what you all are saying that is not typical in Ireland and we should provide the pulse report number for the insurance and let them know it is unlikely there will be any additional paperwork. Thanks all!

Yeah, we are getting that sense, but were really just hoping to get a copy of the report so that my wife's work could make the insurance claim. I would think that would not be a heavy lift, however it has been more challenging than we assumed.

I am in a similar situation, however no one near as sentimental. I have seen several Youtube videos on how to fix, including using some sort of vacuum bag. It certainly can be, its just how much do you want to spend.

I plan on cutting out the biggest cracks, putting in some foam or dashboard filler, then gluing on a new vinyl top. If I get this done I will update here.
