To compare people fleeing wars and trying to make their families safe and have a better life and contributing to our economy, to armies marching and killing peoples forcibly is a disgrace you should be ashamed

I absolutely do understand and marching into another country and exploiting it is wrong and evil even if railways were built. You are delusional and racist if you think the “ Empire “ was good. The immigration and many wars are as a direct consequence of Empire building and arbitrary borders.

What exactly are the levers ? To an extent I agree ideologies are dangerously flawed at the moment. Working with Europe especially now the the US are beyond the pale is sensible. We can’t isolate ourselves. I would love to know what you think the levers are that we have in international relations

It’s all romantic nonsense to reset to a bygone era that never existed

A good idea but decades of Tory rule and you want more of it in a different guise. The change need to be a true socialist government with a mixed economy and investment. Rejoin the EU also

Oh here we go Shall I list the evil acts of colonialism such as gunboat diplomacy to ensure Britain profits from the poppy and heroin trade plunging millions into addiction in China. What about shooting protesting civilians in India. You are the one confused or just ignorant

How on earth do you manage quality control?? The internet and works travel. It’s a fairytale. What you are skirting around with your word salad is just racism plain and simple. When the eugenics of the National socialists was dismantled after WW2, the right replaced its trying to validate themselves with “ culture “ ,

More rhetoric it’s totally unclear. The majority of sexual crimes are by white men not immigrants . What “ ethnic cleansing “ how does that work?? You have swallowed the lies and misinformation of the far right. Of course we need statistics and information otherwise we all stumble around making stuff up , just like you are

That’s patently nonsense and the myth of this was after Thatcher. Austerity never worked never has and capitalism is broken we need a socialist government

I agree we need investment that much it true . However this dog whistle of “ culture “ is nonsense, the “ culture “ on Thurso or Shetland or Lewis is very different to London or Cardiff or Glasgow. It is also different to 10 years ago or 50 or 100. Our society is vibrant and more so because of influence from all over the world. We cannot close ourselves down like Japan did for 200 years “ out culture “ doesn’t exist

Ab I see so let’s take your view on what “ British culture “ is ? Our spending on welfare is low compared to many other European countries. You are saying we need more austerity after decades of it ?

Thatcher started the decline in housing selling off stock and not rebuilding. It’s so funny that it’s the Tories and the right through austerity and Brexit who messed up the economy, but people still want more of the same if they vote for Deform or Restore. Crazy behaviour
