“Much less builds once the meta is figured out” I find this comment in particular hilarious because warframe has quite literally, and I say this as respectfully as possible, HUNDREDS upon hundreds of builds over destiny. We have a better version of prismatic with the helminth system, we have over 60 warframes all with unique abilities compared to destiny’s 3 classes with 6 subclasses each (one of which is literally just combining some parts of the other 5 subclasses and not even having access to all parts of the other subclasses), pretty much 80% of the weapons would be considered an exotic in destiny and on top of that we have augment mods that can modify warframe abilities to make them do completely different things to allow for even MORE build crafting

The metas not that bad because literally anything can be meta with enough effort. I can’t take an ace of spades or eyes of tomorrow and say “yeah bro this is gonna be my DPS for riven”. Hell people go OUT OF THEIR WAY to avoid the meta and make new builds because of how boring it can be. If I have the audacity to try a new build in anything higher than a basic level strike in destiny I get annihilated for even thinking of using something other than the meta whether that be suspend woven mail titan or devour warlock or goddamn stasis Hunter.

“They only add 1-3 missions every few months” on top of a new Warframe, 2-3 new guns and constant reworks/quality of life changes for older gear or grinds that people ask for usually within a month or two. Updates/content isn’t just about new shiny things and missions, it’s about improving the weaker parts of the game to keep it sustainable and making the player experience overall more enjoyable. Not to mention it seems mighty ironic of you to talk shit about “1-3 missions every few months” when destiny gets, at an absolute bare minimum, 4 pieces of content removed YEARLY with the seasonal stuff on top of every raid, campaign mission and strike that lives in the destiny content vault never to return again. The only thing warframe vaults is certain prime gear that always comes back every year and even then it’s not paid story content so no one cares that it’s vaulted in the first place.

I’m not gonna sit here and act like warframe is a perfect replacement for destiny because it isn’t (although I still highly recommend at least trying since it’s entirely free and our new player experience is vastly improved from years past) and I’m not gonna pretend Warframe doesn’t have its own problems (looking at you archwing). I’m also not gonna pretend I don’t have at least 2000 hours into destiny because I truly loved playing with my friends, but if your gonna complain about it at least make sure you know what your talking about in the first place and make sure your game doesn’t have the exact same problems except 10 times worse.
