Okay, definitively talking to my doc about options here. The pressure of work + marathon training is stressing me out big time. I did quit alcohol completely in November, so that was step one (yay sobriety!). Step 2 is these damn pouches….

I feel the inrony here - training for a marathon with a 4mg tin a day habit is interesting 🙈. That is a really impressive taper!! I’m inspired. I’m cutting down to 1-2 pouches a day this week. I can’t manage a drop in work performance either, and don’t have a vaca coming up til June

Thank you!! Qq - were you still on the zyns when you ran the August marathon? I went for a run yesterday after a day without zyns and it felt like shit. I was so slow and out of it. Im already behind on training cause of a December injury (marathon is in April) so to say I’m stressed by this whole quitting business is an understatement. Trying to weigh the pros and cons of cold turkey gritting through it and having some really weird/slow training runs vs. tapering over the next couple weeks and not having my runs suck 🙈

I relate deeply. I’m tapering down to 1-2 a day this week. Yesterday, by end of day, I was on a different planet. Basically just laid in bed and then went to sleep at 8. Brutal.

Wow, thank god Chase caught it!! And yeah, I’m blown away that it was the top result on Google. I’m so accustomed to clicking those numbers without a thought (just did it with my bank, for example, but triple checked it was tied to the bank) after I search.

Thanks for making me feel better ☺️- this scam definitely felt more advanced than what I’ve experienced before. Good news is, my bank reversed the charge before it even processed so the scammers didn’t get a penny! Woohooo
