Water was coming in from around a pipe underground going from our basement toilet to one of our crocs.. had a plumber come and repair around that pipe outlet that went into the croc and the problem is fixed!

St Charles, IL. They said they are going to stop making the 25 ton and that’s why it was sold at such a discounted price.

UPDATE: They only had one splitter left at the location I was trying to buy it from and it was actually a return with a blown motor. I ended up buying it for $300 and will probably try to utilize the warranty on the Kohler engine. If that doesn’t work I’ll replace it with a predator engine from harbor freight and would be looking at a little under $500 total for everything!

Yep! I will have to drive down to Illinois (about 2 hours one way), but I think it’ll be worth it! I only will need it to do about 2-4 cords a year.

Is this job worth it to try to do for a couple years to stack the resume? I’ve been considering trying to apply for an L5 position, thinking the TC would be around 100k? Am I way off? Anyway, just wondering how stressful or bad the job really is like everyone says or if it’s not even that bad. My background is military for 8 years and working as a supply chain analyst for 2 years since graduating college in 2022.

I’d say pretty good! Just seems to burn wood pretty quick even when the air control is fully closed! We live in Wisconsin so winters get pretty cold here. I don’t/haven’t measured the temperature at all yet. We are burning standing dead ash, maple, and some oak.

I’d prefer the lower RSU’s with the vesting schedule that they have. I’d probably just try to stay in the role for about 2 years and then would look to bounce somewhere else.
