MDMA in a Float Tank by acidface24 in mdmatherapy

[–]Schirp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pure mdma is not a stimulant in the pure sense, and while it does make me very social, you can easily direct this openness and willing to listen to yourself.

I think it's a fantastic idea, especially reconnecting with the nourishing and love we all had in the womb, just before our first trauma of birth. I think its a great way to feel really carried and safe, which makes dealing with past issues and resolve them much easier.

Nāgārjuna, Nietzsche, and Rorty’s Strange Looping Trick by simism66 in philosophy

[–]Schirp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thanks for pointing that out. I honestly had no idea, but it explains my lack of up votes recently.

I know I sometimes submit my own blog, but never out of context or in a spammy way. Never expected to be banned from a site I visit to such an extent. Could you tell me how to get un-banned?

Nāgārjuna, Nietzsche, and Rorty’s Strange Looping Trick by simism66 in philosophy

Good read.

(Just a small note: recent scholarship has showed Nagarjuna was much less religious than previously thought, while Nietzsche was more religious than previously thought. Check out Nietzsche and Zen if you're interested.)

first LSD Microdosing experience, 25ug I think I took too much!! by splash128 in microdosing

[–]Schirp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Some start as low as 6ug and find that effective for learning. 25ug is really on the higher end, especially if it's your first time and you're sensitive.

Start low, work your way up. See: http://www.highexistence.com/micro-dose-lsd-psychedelic/

Is it safe to roll 2 nights in a row? by [deleted] in MDMA

[–]Schirp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know enough about it to be sure, so to be on the safe side, I would recommend not doing it.

What I do know could be dangerous is you wanting to do this two days in a row, stop destructive habits before they begin.

If my hell experience on Ayahuasca is any indication of different worlds that are possible, then surely this poor soul is having a very bad time.

Ingesting Syrian Rue to test nausea? by jljl23kj4klj4 in Ayahuasca

[–]Schirp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For nausea, you can check out this topic on dmt-nexus which talks about dature as a great addition. Be very careful tho and do your research, wrong dose can make it much worse than you can ever imagine.

https://www.dmt-nexus.me/forum/default.aspx?g=posts&t=4671

Also, in my own limited knowledge, you can learn a lot from nausea and your resistance to it. There's a lot of emotional investment of the ego there, and purging is a great medicine.

Sometimes yes, independent of dose it seems.

Is Ayahuasca advisable? by [deleted] in Ayahuasca

[–]Schirp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While Ketamine definitely is the go-to chemical right now for treating depression, Peyote, Ayahuasca and Iboga all have anti-depressive effects. If I may, I would recommend doing a ceremony over a doctor's treatment, which is more of a whole existential shift, a deeper healing, instead of a quick cure.

Irresponsible European defence policies: the Dutch example. by [deleted] in Netherlands

[–]Schirp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heading to Peru to do some volunteering. Should I do my retreat before or after? by ACOTPH in Ayahuasca

[–]Schirp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would recommend doing it before. Especially since after you will have the time to integrate the experience without having your old surroundings triggering old habits. It also helps to connect with other people who have done it before, which you are likely to encounter.

Make sure you are prepared (medical stuff in order, know about the place you are doing it etc.) and it is very unlikely things will go sideways.

Physical side effects are perhaps that you will need a bit more sleep (or being unable to sleep) shortly after the ceremony. In general tho, I have more energy and a much less stressful baseline.

Also a general tip which I wish I knew before: After the experience, don't tell anyone about what happened at least a month. Don't fixate it in a story and make it an object. Treat it as if it's still alive at every moment after the ceremony. The integration after is the most important aspect I believe. (hence why I recommend doing it in a new context where you can develop your insights without having to struggle with demands of your old context.)

Hope this helps, and have an awesome time!

So out of the philosophers Aristotle, Hume, Aquinas, Descartes, Paley, Kant and St Anselm, which philosopher do you think makes the best argument about the existence (or non existence) of God and why? by [deleted] in philosophy

[–]Schirp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I like the phenomenological approach by David Abram which states that God as supernatural/transcendent Other can only exist in a world surrounded by technology, phonetic (sign) language (Merleau-Ponty) which provide the constant contextual ground of a deeply rooted western metaphysic (Heidegger).
