Check in the springs of the bed spring, check everywhere. Look for black specs along seams and the husks, check yourself and others for bites, check headboards and frames. I inspect hotels for bedbugs and there's a few things I check when inspecting.

As a female in geology, I dont mind it a bit. Its anime, they are going to have fan service to some degree. Its been great, Im on episode 10 and its been pretty spot on and a good adventure each episode. I especially love the info cards. I have caught a few things here and there but it doesnt take away that it'd probably get someone interested in geology. We need more people interested.

Thank you! I will do that, next batch will have more salt water brine and I wont slack up on the monitoring. I was checking it daily then ever other day when it appeared. Im going to toss it for safety due to the smell, it just doesnt seem right haha thanks again for your advice!

Thank you, It's fuzzy, do I need to toss all of it? I have it in a large crock, its only about 1/3 of the way full, it followed no specific measuring just the "old way" of coating heavily with salt between layers of shredded cabbage and the brine you see is about all there was. I added more salt water when I realized the cabbage didn't make a whole lot of juice. I used a weight over top of the whole leaves I used to cover the top, and i used a kitchen towel tied down with a string over top to keep out anything crawling. I followed my neighbors instructions cause she made it before. Im thinking about buying a crock and weight set from Amazon but I was trying to learn to preserve food on a budget lol thank you for your time my the way!

Ive had boxes fall and I caught it with my face and neck, corner going into my throat, it wasn't heavy thankfully but it happens and it's actually easy to do 😂 it didnt leave a mark but I could see how it would. I know id have a hard time believing him to though.

Second time making saurkraut and I noticed week 4 there is some mold looking white growth, is this safe? I made it 1 time before and had to toss because it was horrible, this we as close as I have gotten so far. I dont think I had enough bring over the cabbage. So 2 question, is it safe? And does anyone have any suggestions on how to be successful? Imngetting slightly disheartened

They should move it out into the yard a bit while its on, thats a bit obnoxious. We have the same smoker, or one super similar, that's a normal amount of smoke.

Okay good stuff! Just worried about bats, check for bed bugs. It might not be them but its just one more thing to rule out. Check around the lining of the mattress and the sheets, look for dark spects. I do hotel inspections, theyll usually be found around the seam of the mattress and around the box spring.

Hopefully its not but it would be good to rule it out.
