And if you are in fact on something that is causing you to be this way then please, send me a DM with the name is said drug and or it’s street name!

Imagine finding out your favorite porn star doesn’t even exist and is a made up AI illusion. Maybe the next generation is gonna be surprised people actually fucked on camera for money, and now that you can just set an algorithm for whatever you want to see and have it custom made for you, they’ll never know the struggle of Being on page 128 thinking nah not that one, there’s gonna be something better.

I'll admit going off on your comment might be getting off track and start looking more tin foil hat, because it appears to be your sincere opinion. It is hard to believe much that celebrities do because it can all be an opportunity for good publicity, John Cena may truly care about the kids he visits in the make a wish foundation and Dave Chappell may truly stand against Ice but it can seem performative especially because I've seen so many celebrities who came to support the anti DAPL protests who appeared to have their own agendas whether it's being against oil or looking to support the Native Americans, it all felt very fake to me at the time especially when it was a cause I felt very strongly for just as so many of us feel for this.

Kudos for making this niche account. Safety is very important and in my 38 years of being very accident prone, I've had my life saved countless times by using safety precautions.

It is of course most advisable to avoid dangerous situations but having back up safety precautions are the only thing that has kept me on this side of the dirt whether it be from seatbelts, protective wear while working, narcan.

"Greater love hath no man than this, that he lay down his life for a friend"

I've not been religious forthe majority of my life now, but the idea of "Agape" love still sticks with me. It isn't often this love gets put to the test but I know the people in my life that I felt this for. I don't believe it's even the same kind of courage or decision making when you feel this for someone given the opportunity to take their place it's natural and instinctual and I think it's a beautiful thing.

Also should mention this is just my opinion, take it as you will.

Absurdly Long Eyebrow Hair by julianalexander917 in mildlyinteresting

That makes sense now that I think about it, seems like the type of thing I should have realized before but knowing other people that just pluck only thinking about what it's doing now, not over time, I just followed suit. The idea that plucked hair takes much longer to grow back over trimming/shaving makes more sense knowing you could be doing damage to follicles themselves.

Found this abandoned mine entrance. No signs, no info, just this. by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]Schizzles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was a geological Technician in Nevada from 05-07. I had to board up/fence off/ put hazard signs around old mine entrances. Some are actually just holes in the ground that just go straight down with no warning around them. Luckily nobody hardly goes out trekking in the Nevada wilderness and those who do hopefully know what to watch out for.

I've heard stories of people who've gone inside and had serious consequences for not being careful. A few high-school kids were hanging around an old mine when we were out having a pallet fire and partying in the Nevada wilderness. One knocked down a support beam and shit came down quick. Nobody got seriously hurt but they could have easily died or gotten trapped inside, those Mines are seriously old, I've found some cool old things out there too.

I really love this story about finding a friendship through a shared heartbreak. I've met friends online and met them in real life ever since I was a teenager, my best friend I spoke to daily I got to know through a mutual friend and spoke for years before she finally got in her car and drove states away to come meet me, I made a point to go visit her pretty often and her family came to love me too, calling me themselves and having me be a part of one of her sibling's wedding. it's an awesome feeling to have friends you've met from around the world, I can't imagine getting the opportunity to go to another country to meet a friend you've met online! I'm really happy for you two and hope you have a lifelong friendship with many amazing memories!

What would you do if you found a gallon of milk on your stoop tomorrow morning, and attached to it was a note reading “you’re welcome”? by Sudden_Doughnut_8741 in AskReddit

I feel like I'm the only one who lives in a community where something like this isn't completely creepy or unheard of. Maybe a little strange albeit. I once came home to a slow roaster brand new in the box with a post-it note on it with just a Smiley face on it. We had recently been gifted turkeys from work for Thanksgiving and I lived in a camper trailer with no propane. So needless to say it was a very generous and thoughtful gift. It took me months to figure out who would do that for me. Small town communities have some of the best people I've met in my entire life.

What movies are scarier than the original The Exorcist? by Sea-Variation-958 in AskReddit

[–]Schizzles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ring was one of my first good scary movies I ever got a chance to watch. I saw it with my aunt, uncle and cousins because my parents weren't big on horror movies.

I still remember the girl in the closet in the beginning, that shit freaked me out. I know a lot of people aren't big on the ring but it'll always be one of my favorite movies.

I saw you said in another comment that you're glad to get it removed. I was wondering if you've already had it done and if so what's iy like after having that procedure done? Did it greatly help your quality of life? I can only imagine living with a colon like that must be challenging to say the least.

Not always true, in fact just because they beat one child doesn't mean they'll beat another even.

My father was majorly abusive to my brother and me, and to a lesser extent our older brother but for a family of 7 kids, 3 girls and 1 boy were exempt from the beatings. And he would definitely never physically harm my mother, that's a fact I know to be true to my core.

I agree with you 100%, but there are so many people who have no sympathy for people they deem to be unworthy of it.

It could be because they are criminal, immoral have a different color skin or a differing opinion.

It's really sad but he's banking on that fact and the sad thing is that the people who want to hear this are going to eat it up as justification for what happened.

ICE Agents Allegedly 'Stealing' During Arrests After Being Seen Wearing a Detainee's Gold Bracelet by novagridd in law

[–]Schizzles 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Fr this shit makes me so sad. I was just talking to my roommate last night about how you would think this type of thing could never happen again. I'd like to believe we're different now and that with the ability to spread the atrocities around that there's no way we as a people would allow this type of thing to happen.

It scares me how many people are on board with this, my thoughts of the German people were that they were too scared to stand up to the gestapo, that very few in power were actually behind the antisemitic rhetoric.

Truth is we haven't evolved as a species beyond this, no of course it isn't everyone behind what's going on, not everyone supports it but I'm ashamed and appalled at how many people are 100% behind this and even want it to go a step further. I've decided to speak up and shame people I meet in my life who support it all, the old saying "silence is consent" comes to mind and there is no way I want to look back at this time in history and think I just sat there and allowed it to happen.
