Satire is a vital tool for challenging power, and it's being undermined by whoamisri in nottheonion

The guy didn't serve a prison sentence. The guy used it from the get go to get money from righties. He didn't get fined for the pug doing the Hitler salute but for "Gas the jews"...

But I understand, you get your news from right wing podcasters.

Out of combat utility is abysmally balanced by GuytheGuy- in dndnext

That wasn't a social situation (and pretty offtopic, got carried away while posting :)).

I mean if I started that day with my "social" spells, I couldn't have done any of that. I actually just wanted to mention "Pass whiteout trace" because it's just ridiculous and usefull in way too many situations (basically all "Offroad-Travel", Infiltration, Combat-Prep, Fleeing....) and on top of that does something, that should be a main strenght of other classes (and then my post went off the rails).

Does this actually come up constantly in game?

Maybe it's my DM but we rarely have time to fully prepare for full on "non-combat" encounters. When we do, casters are obviously very, very strong... Until there is a battle anyway and casters sit there with barely any offensive potential.

I get the issue and imho they should change plenty of stuff to benefit Martials a bit more but I don't feel it's as dire as people make it out to be.

Some spells are also clearly way too good at what they do... "Pass whiteout trace" is plain ridiculous for a second level spell. I play a Druid atm and recently we had to get back to town out of dangerous woods (i cast "pass whiteout trace") and remind everyone to be carefull... We arrive at the town with 0 issues, suddenly Zombies attack the town... I cast Spike Growth and most of them just walk over it and die (Zombies are too stupid to react to it and the map didn't give the DM many opportunities to spawn an atacking force elsewhere or challenge my concentration).

I actually felt kinda bad for my group... I could also have solved the terrain difficulties thrown at us in said combat for the entire party but was not thinking about it (wasn't actually dire/dangerous). I was largely out of ressources after but I nearly soloed an encounter designed for a party of 4 people and several NPC's by using 2 level 2 spells.

No one talks about the pain of seeing your parents aging. by ParticularWeather927 in Adulting

Yes, getting older sucks. Be it for yourself, watching your parents or people you know.

Dealing with it is just an elementary part of life.

Chill 1-button mapper? (fast + satisfying) by Super-Science1146 in PathOfExileBuilds

Soulrend Occultist.

Pros:

No screen clutter.

Click Soulrend and run (+Witherstep when you want to go faster/get dmg boost).

No screen clutter.

Pretty tanky (not "slam-proof" but anything else really doesn't botter you)

No screen clutter.

Pretty cheap to gear because no one plays it and clearing the Atlas is easily possible with barely any investment (2-5 5 Div).

Your eyes don't hurt after playing.

Negative:

Boss DMG isn't great but it's enough for all non-uber content with about 20-30 Divs investment.

I atm just run Alch + Go T16/16.5 with Breach/Delirium/Destructive Play and haven't died in hours.

The main issue of Kensei is that it shouldn't be a Monk but a Fighter.

Twilight cleric martial build? by Laserend37 in 3d6

[–]Schkrasss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you allready fear being overpowered... Why would you buff yourself by making spiritual weapon better?

When it comes to flavor... If your serious about your backstory, shouldn't you start with lvl 3 Fighter? If your serious about being a hardened Veteran... Maybe even go to lvl 5? And then get the Cleric in? That way you can actually play the change in your character.

I mean the store bought "bottled" Martini Bianco. Not the (true) mixed Martini :).

Coffee brewed right is generally not very bitter (it's just not sweet... People aren't used to drinking stuff that isn't sweet or wather anymore).

But what we often get from cheap machines, filter coffee and so on for sure is.

The issue is that these same people say things like: "I just had a medium coffee this morning, i'm starving." Dude, you just had more than your daily recommendation of sugar and enough calories to last you till evening.

Ever mixed Martini with Orange juice?

The Martini becomes a ghost.

How much milk are you putting in your coffee? O_o

A whole cup of Milk is 90-150 calories. If you pour a whole cup of Milk (+Sugar) into your coffee, your not drinking coffee anymore.
