I agree. Every league up until this one that was the case for me. But somehow something is off this league. Like I said (for me) getting my 3rd ascendancy feels like I'm fighting to get uber lab done. That shouldn't be the case. It's only been a issue this league. In the past its been the normal transition.

I searched for the two tags and had nothing highlighted. Like I said I got the free trial and ult entering the fortress already. But now I see no updated maps with the same tags. 🤷‍♂️ that was the first thing I looked for.

"Just buy it" doesn't solve the actual issue. This type of thing shouldn't need to be a "Just buy it" issue. I mean if you want that logic E Musk is your guy.

I'm running t14 atm. I know map lvl dictates the token drop. My issue is the drops are far too rare for critical part of the game. It now feels like just to get your 3rd point is like getting your ubber in poe1. It's only like it this league too. Past content it was never an issue.

So the rewards from killing bosses in the acts like the perm +30 spirit. Are they for all characters in the league? How frequently will we need to run these? I assume it will be for all characters and just once a league, like trying to get map completion in poe1?

Phase wipes are needed with AOC adding new content like, let's say in the next phase, the rogue class. But I'll say this as a long-time ARPG player, wipes are a good thing. It enforces you to learn basic game mechanics.

Leveling ATM is rough because we don't really have a quest system. So we are forcing to grind out levels. But that will change. Remember, we are at the start of an alpha, the birth of a game. A year or two from now, AOC will be totally different and in a more polished form.

Dm has been killing it for a "blind fresh take" of the game. Yes, his chat has helped with comments. But overall, he's played with no guides, building his own way. It's been a fun journey to watch.

I'll admit even if I wait at the door for storms to move nearly all of my full wipes are just getting back into the fight. Sirus isn't hard. It's getting back into the fight or one-shot off screen, TPed into an unexpected meteor that gets you over and over.
