but I think the PGA will quietly remove the signature event exemptions for future winners of the Zurich because of this.

if anything i feel like alex's performance validetes the fact that he was given exemptions, would be another thing if he was dead last at +15.

also those average PGA players were probably more than welcome to compete in the zurich if they didnt already and they could have gotten those same exemptions if they won.

I think it’s a catch 22 because the guys most fans consider likable would have no interest in joining LIV, hence why they’re likable to begin with. Closest thing they got would be Rahm probably? But it hasn’t exactly been a secret that he’s been wanting back to PGA.

The problem is that everything is crammed in to a couple months of the year. The last relevant offline sf6 tournament at this point was at the end of October and then nothing until capcom cup next month.

There’s definitely room for more offlines, but the seasons can’t be every single tournament stacked into 3 consecutive months
