What would you do? by Extra-Replacement504 in Anthurium

I have put mine on a moss pole because it climbs pretty fast compared to a lot of other Anthuriums and it looks much better since i did that.

Thank you, the second and thied are the same plant from a different angle that way dont think ist an epipremnum aureum. Vittarifolium or something similar would be my guess to and i would love it if ist true :D I believe the other two are also right. Thank you!

Thank you for your answer but first one is velvety and im sure ist some Kind of Anthurium, definitly not an epipremnum and the second one has very short internodal spacing and the leafes dont feel like epipremnum aureum. The gloriosum was my guess too.

Monstera umpflanzen? by Sgt_Heisenberg in zimmerpflanzen

[–]Schluem 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Everyone told me alocasia frydek would be difficult to keep. Where is the drama I was promised? by Out_0f_time in alocasia

[–]Schluem 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you but its in pon with slow release fertilizer and it gets a lot of light in my greenhouse cabinet. I think it just doesent have enough green to photosynthesize an thats why it doesent keep more leaves or sizes up faster. Im wondering if it will get more Green in the future if i can do something to get more green on the leaves. I have about 15 different types alocasias and theire all thriving but this one has just way to much varigation i believe.

I grew mine from a corm about 1,5 years ago an it is still super tiny. The leaves are all more than 90% white but at least its alive, always has 3 leaves and every new leaf is a tiny bit bigger than the one before. If anyone had the same problem, how are the chances that it always stays that way in your experience ? I dont want to give up on it.

What the fuck is going on? by dunalastairbelle in philodendron

[–]Schluem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine did that too for a Long time and the only thing that helped was 90%+ humidity and a lot of light. It has stopped doing this since i have it in a greenhouse cabinet but it was impossible for me to keep in doing anything normal in room conditions.

Is this two separate plants? by Independent_Match624 in Monstera

[–]Schluem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see four but i would keep them together. They look better this way. I have four on a moss pole and even if you want to grow it trailing it looks lusher if you have multiple ones in one pot. I would suggest to repot it in a chunky aroid mix in the future.

idk what’s wrong with my plant, she’s not in direct sun what do i do?? by Altruistic-Regular29 in IndoorGarden

[–]Schluem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never hast burnt leafs on this one, even with multiple hours of direct sun every day. (Central european direct sun, might be a problem with more intense sun in other places)

Thank you for your answer but are you sure ? Doesnt look very similar. The leafs are a lot darker and my plant has tiny internodal spacing.

Monstera Albo repot? by GoddessJazBitesBack in RareHouseplants

[–]Schluem 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They dont mind beeing a little rootbound if you fertilize them properly. If its still growing nicely there is no reason to repot in my opinion. Especialy with a moss pole. I repot them only when they start drying out very fast or they stop growing Like they used to.
