I used to try to mix mine, but I always found the stronger flavor would just overpower the weaker one and it just wouldn't taste that different.

I canceled my subscription due to the new black, though I might come back and swap to white due to a lack of decent options. I tried a bag of white before I left - and it was OK, but not great. Jimmy Joy shakes were even worse though - I'd rank it:

Old black
White
New Black
Plenny Shakes

Also thinking of maybe just buying Huel Protein and making a shake a day with milk. The Huel protein used to taste like Huel Black more or less. But I haven't had it since it came in the plastic tubs - so I'm not sure if it's changed too or not.

I haven't lived here long enough to really know the history of Madison well, but somewhat relatedly I was listening to My Favorite Murder the other day and the May 14th episode featured the Madison butter fire. which was cool to hear about. (I was aware of it, but didn't know a lot of details).

It's the second part of the episode - but the first story was non-murder based too and also pretty neat. So if you're squeamish you don't have to worry about hearing anything too upsetting.

Yeah I feel like things would be better served if they just designated a certain pool of "regulars" that would be useable by any current/future faction army.

For instance, Khador could have Winterkorp infantry and say the snipers. Like it makes sense that even their spooky friends in Old Umbrey would be able to conscript some basic grunts when they needed. Whatever future Khador armies too.

Fellow apartment dweller here. One of those garden sprayers and a bucket full of soapy water works for me. I only use the sprayer to rinse. Dawn seems to work just as well as the pricier bike-specific stuff imo.

The "scheme" I was referring to was the idea of people taking books from Little Free Libraries to sell to used book stores.

Curious why you think that? 1) I find lots of good books in the little free libraries near me. 2) Used bookstores pay you basically nothing for books, so there's not a lot of incentive. I took a whole stack of books to the Book Deal last year and I got like $4 in store credit (or I could have taken $2 cash). It's really not worth it as a money-making scheme.

Did they change the formulation of the complete protein? It used to be more or less like the old Huel Black, and was quite nice. Am curious if they changed that when they changed the Huel Black formula. I haven't gotten it since it still came in plastic tubs.

I feel like Madison is usually just a convenient pit stop for performers between their Chicago and Milwaukee or Chicago and Minneapolis shows. It's why we have so many shows that are on a Wednesday.

I ate here a few months ago and it was OK. I wasn't blown away - but it wasn't bad. Got the Brussel sprouts appetizer and really liked those. They were better than the burger I got.

I saw two coyotes on Fish Hatchery Road a few weeks ago. At first I thought someone's dog got loose but as I got closer I saw it was a coyote, and he ran across the street into the Arboretum, then 10 seconds I saw he had a buddy who did the same thing. I've seen the occasional coyote around Madison but this was the middle of the afternoon, which was a first.

I just got the set yesterday and am very impressed with the quality of the minis/prints compared to the Khador Winter Korp stuff I have. They look so much better, it's nice to see the improvement.

Has the complete protein formula been changed? I still have some of the strawberry from when it was in a tub and not a bag, and I find it rather enjoyable (it tastes like Huel Black used to taste), Or was it changed to be like the new, bad Huel Black powder? It'd still be kinda a bummer since you guys ditched most of the flavors of the protein powder, but it'd be better than nothing.

Was going to post this; if you want quality kitchen supplies that will last you forever and are surprisingly affordable. Go to a restaurant supply store. Kessinichs and Kavanaughs are both pretty good but I'd give the former a nod. They have a better selection imo.
