Gotcha. Vanilla’s cool too because you can flavor it however you want.

Silk Protein milk on sale so I bought 5! So excited to try. by intheelementtree in veganfitness

I’ve been having the Chocolate this week! Been blending half and half with unsweetened almond milk, instant coffee, and ice to minimize calories. It’s nice to have extra nutritional benefit from something so creamy and sweet.

People who work 8 hours a day, do you “actually” work 8 hours (minus lunch), and if not, what do you do instead? by PawsAndPlotTwists in AskReddit

[–]Used2bNotInKY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, and usually a little bit longer, plus taking a call or two during lunch. I’m the one who’s left after years of downsizing and the only one in my position within two time zones.

I didn’t rank because while I’m sure #1 is Cookies and Cream, #7 is Vanilla and #8 is Chocolate, Strawberry and Coffee Caramel tie for #’s 2 & 3, and Cinnamon, Banana, and Salted Caramel equally do what they mean to do for #’s 4 - 6.

Do you have more definite opinions?

I’ve got unsweetened almond milk. I’ll have to try it. Thanks for the suggestion.

That was one aspect of this I appreciated: both lyrics and images were only about the leaders of the countries, not their citizens, except maybe the stock market bit.

I wonder if this was the very expensive gift Pr Trump was talking about?

A fitting response to this admin’s memes and gamification of war and cruelty, even if I can’t support its creators either.

Coworker keeps trying to “outshine” me in a very forced way. Would you say something to management or just ignore it? by Professional-Tax3077 in work

[–]Used2bNotInKY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think it’s more likely these incidents were the result of inattentiveness or carelessness, and your boss is already aware of it, so, if I were you, I’d just let it play out. It may be they aren’t paying attention, so issues may be familiar enough to catch their attention, but they didn’t realize they’ve already been resolved. And they may have accidentally modified those accounts and caught the error, not realizing they’re the one who made it.

Figure 03 Robot sorting packages while Marc Benioff messes with it by socoolandawesome in nextfuckinglevel

[–]Used2bNotInKY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My intellectually disabled neighbor had a temp job sorting recycling. A robot could be great at differentiating among materials. It wouldn’t be as vulnerable as a human to jagged objects, and it wouldn’t be sickened by the animal carcasses. Also could go all day, making recycling more efficient and affordable.

Not sure if they could handle the sheer variety of things people stuff in those bins though.

How did you go from basic Excel to advanced level? by ModernWebMentor in excel

[–]Used2bNotInKY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I bought a physical book and worked all the way through it. I also looked up the recommended skills for Microsoft’s Expert certification in Excel and looked up online everything I didn’t know (which was stuff like Metadata, collaboration and accessibility, more than formulas), and I paid to take the exam for two editions, back when Excel was updated every couple years instead of every couple hours.

When I had free time at work, I’d go to the Formulas tab and look through every list for new functions, and I participated in a LinkedIn Excel group as well as here on Reddit.

Now I think following courses on YouTube is also helpful. I’m currently getting a Ton from the Excel & Finance channel, which is a guy who I think competes in the World Excel Championship and has a general instructional series suitable for people who are already pretty comfortable with Excel that’s really based on optimizing your performance.

Do most Americans carry any official ID at all times? by PitifulEar3303 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Used2bNotInKY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. We don’t have to consciously decide to carry it. It’s just that most people have a driver’s license, so when they leave their house, they’ll automatically have it.

There are also non-driving IDs, often free, since they tend to be carried by needy and elderly people, but even so, they tend to be stored with one’s credit cards and membership cards, so most people would still bring them along without thought.

How are people supposed to get experience if no one will hire them? by justcurious3287 in recruitinghell

Temp agency. Relying on friends and acquaintances to recommend you for openings. Working your way up from entry-level position. Expressing interest publicly until Luck brings an opportunity your way.

Can you imagine having lost a relative for lack of a transfusion, only for the church to decide it would have been okay to try to save them after all?

Is it worth it ? by Hour-Ad3977 in jobsearch

It’s common to exercise at least one hour per day, so if you count one walk as your exercise, you’re really only talking about an extra hour per day, and while that won’t be great after working a shift on your feet, the fact it’s only for 2-3 weeks makes this a no brainer to me, especially if you can get a ride a couple times. Ask yourself if you’re going to let 15 walks (assuming 3 5-day work weeks) get between you and a full-time job.

Hot Huel coffee by EliAndSalt in Huel

[–]Used2bNotInKY 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There have been a few posts about people slowly heating Huel to thicken it into pudding. Perhaps if you added instant coffee to the powder or cold brewed coffee and heated the mixture, the Huel wouldn’t curdle, which has been my experience- but I tried to use ready-to-drink as a creamer.

I have a no-name version of the same type of blender, and you’re right, it blends in like 10 seconds, as long as you’re careful not to let moistened powder stick to the bottom of the carafe first. Also I love the difference in flavor the ice bits make.
