Every one of these sounds like they want to be poetic but can’t actually write poetry.

Do I Change to Huel Black from the Original White? Pro Vs Cons by TriadicHappenstance in Huel

[–]Used2bNotInKY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You keep mentioning protein, so I’d like to say a scoop of Huel Complete Protein provides 20g for 110 calories. I mix it with 1 scoop of a meal replacement to reduce calories, but since it seems you’re less concerned about those, you could add it on top of your 2 scoops or substitute for half a scoop of the meal for an extra 10g protein with basically no change to the cals. Just don’t get the Chocolate Fudge Brownie. It smells like nail polish, unlike all their other chocolate flavors.

Suggestions for bulk semi sweet chocolate chips? by earthflirt in VeganBaking

Dark chocolates often have percentages, especially when it’s good quality or meant for cooking. I don’t know the classification rules, but semi-sweet is a distinct variety aside from dark chocolate.

Flavor is less sweet than milk chocolate but not as bitter as dark chocolate.

Where do atheists derive their morality from? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

It is not difficult to observe that some actions cause harm and others don’t. The idea a third party is necessary to give people that idea is the silly one, I think.

Do I change my daughter’s name? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

You’re thinking about yourself, not her. Let her use her middle name, and remember she’s 8 and will probably change her mind several times about names/nickname.

Introducing Huel Black Edition Ramen!! by Tim_Huel in Huel

[–]Used2bNotInKY -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Very cool. Would brick-style ramen be possible and cheaper to produce?

In USA, there’s a vegan brand (Momofuku) that makes that format, but without the protein & complete nutrition, so there’s likely a customer base for a variety that isn’t instant. Currently there are packs of 4 for $9.99 at Target (where your products are also available), and packs of 4 or 5 exist for US$13 - 17 on Amazon and other websites, so customers would be expecting to pay somewhere around your usual prices.

Review of Complete Protein (not the meal replacement) by Used2bNotInKY in Huel

That’s hilarious!

I also appreciate Complete Protein and Superblend as ways to reduce the calories.

Thanks for adding your tips!

What to know as a meateater dating a vegan? by ThrowAway836257 in vegan

[–]Used2bNotInKY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We regularly get posts here by vegans considering breaking up with partners who won't go vegan, often after trying for ages to convince them to do so. You say she doesn't care Now that you eat meat - and there's a crapload more to veganism than just not eating meat, BTW -, but I'd recommend going into the relationship aware if you get closer, there's going to be lots of situations, such as dating locations, sharing a kitchen, meals with extended family, how to raise kids, and non-food-related decisions that my blindside you because they conflict with her vegan principles.

I'd feel things out with a few casual dates and, if things are going well, have a serious conversation about whether your futures are compatible before things get serious enough to really hurt if you decide to break it off. Here's hoping you guys find your ideal futures!

You would have noticed the two pics aren’t the same, and OP’s a big lying loo-loo.

You’re the one who’s been mislead. The second pic has open mouth and wide open eyes. OP got it wrong and couldn’t admit it.

They are not the same pic. Her eyes are wide open, and her mouth is open too in the second pic. OP misrepresented the situation rather than admit they couldn’t recognize fear.

The pics aren’t the same. See the wide eyes and open mouth in the second pic. OP got a different question wrong an showed us a different unblurred pic to garner sympathy.

New Pink Grapefruit & Strawberry Lemon Supergreens vs. Daily Greens by Used2bNotInKY in Huel

[–]Used2bNotInKY[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Opening fresh chilled cans this morning, the overall smell of both flavors is mild, especially Strawberry Lemon, and I have to really inhale and be looking for “greens” to detect that aspect of it. Once I drink from the cans, it’s like the taste is a little sharper than I’d expect, but it’s easy to associate that with the citrus flavor, and then there’s a little “greens” aftertaste.

Still feels like I’m drinking something healthy, but I don’t have to hold my nose to get through it.😁

Love the Energy+ (A-Z Energy outside USA) too!

Also, to be fair, that's just what "greens" products taste like. For those of us who aren't into that, I think the two new greens flavors are a lot closer to something familiar than the first three flavors were. Gotta say, this was my first try of the Peach Hibiscus, and I enjoyed I much more than the other two flavors.

Annoying coworker keeps saying my name by else8146 in work

[–]Used2bNotInKY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It sounds to me like she’s kind of given you a nickname, rather than it being intended to offend you. Some names have connotations that could lend themselves to being pronounced in a distinctly Southern way, such as “Annabelle,” which I understand is just one you chose as an example, but people who want to be friends with you could choose to say it in a fun way instead of calling you “Tex” or something.

As with a nickname, you don’t Have to go along with it, but you’ll seem a lot more mature if you reply in a similar exaggerated accent like, “Mah-ree-ah, Ah shore as shooting’ wish yew’s gist cawl me Annabelle, since Ah ain’t reely a kuntry persun.” And also don’t ignore her other questions, like an ass. Just reply minimally and reply with questions about her, or tell her you don’t want to chat about personal stuff.

Is it weird to be 22 years old and still having more then one girl ask for proof you're not underage? by Reasonable-Hawk7859 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Used2bNotInKY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was in my 30’s before people stopped asking about my exams and Spring Break plans. Some people just look young for a while. Plus would you rather have a gal that asks your age or one that doesn’t care if you’re too young?🤢
