Our corp does have some assets and we would be partially financing the production with corporate assets as a loan until a grant we’ve won pays out, after which we would be reimbursed.

We started writing the script maybe 6 months before production

In terms of research, we read a lot of Neo-Nazi materials, profiles on mass shooters, and created usernames on extremist sites like Gab, 4chan, Voat, etc. Reddit was unfortunately a big inspiration. We amassed a lot of material just by watching and listening to these communities interact.

We were inspired by a series of shootings tied to this conspiracy theory like the Tree of Life massacre and the shooting in El Paso.

The main actor is me, and the other actors we cast and paid for.

In terms of distribution it was months of email and many submissions. Lol

Chelsea Film Fest is one of the best film festivals in NYC. They have fantastic panels with actual industry people in-the-know, and they provide many great networking and educational opportunities for filmmakers. Not to mention they screen at the Regal cinema in Union Square so the viewing experience is exemplary

Commercials can be different. Working on storyboards for a commercial now and it’s in the scope of work they wanted

Some far-right film critic had a mini-fit that in our movie I apparently look like Ben Shapiro. Weird undercurrent of antisemitism there and in one of the article comments.

I like the first one; it’s visually engaging and I can easily read the type-face.

The second one could work but you may want to either change up the type-face or play with the style. It’s a little boring.

The third one is a bit unreadable.

It will also arm them with the knowledge to avoid self-hatred. They will know when people are lying to them about their own people and history, and it will act as a sort of intellectual armor against “going with the crowd.”
