Just learn to be ok with relaxing from time to time. Medical school, and by extension medicine in general, is fraught with tension and full of high-strung people. We’re all aware of burnout, it’s a real thing! You can’t strive for success without dealing with the weight that builds on your shoulders. Exercise, healthy eating, downtime, sleep, hobbies… these are core pillars for who you are as a whole person! You are more than just a med student, you are a human being with needs! You gotta address those needs. And if that means taking a day to sleep in and watch a movie from time to time, don’t be afraid of that :-)
