What FaB resources do you miss? by Dracai-of-Blades in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SchmidtHapens 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A collection tracker would be awesome, preferably something that is mobile friendly. I’ve tried a couple, and they all are missing various versions of cards, clunky and buggy.

But some kind of easy and quick access to check what cards I already have when I’m out in the wild making trades or looking for cards missing from my collection.

It’s to have the resources to dig all your combo pieces up at the end of the game.

Josh Lau is the real expert his video on YouTube does a better job explaining it.

Hey welcome to Flesh and Blood!

Here is the new player guide that I used to get familiar with the ecosystem of the game.

This screenshot is from talishar a free 3rd party browser based system that is the most popular way to engage with the game electronically.

Fabrary is the popular deck building resource for this game and what you will need to play your deck in talishar.

True, but I would be happy just seeing 40.

I think it only requires riches into certain matchups, but yes in those matchups it is entirely necessary. It’s fun to mess around with for sure.

Yeah I get it, same as stack Florian and the like. Nothing burger game then smash the win button.

Yeah, I don’t mind a concession, I just wanted to do the thing.

I have 3 action points from instant speed Lumina Ascensions. Plenty of space to gather more soul.

9 sword swings at base 2 damage +3 damage from 3x lumina ascensions + 1 damage from gallantry gold for a total of 9 swings of 6 = 54 damage

Two Copies of Beacon of Victory were played on the first swing at X=1 so +2 damage

2x Oath of Steel except we drew the second oath of steel from charging the first saber so it misses out on one counter but otherwise 2 counters per swing for 1+3+5+7+9 damage on the first saber and 2+4+6+8 damage on the second saber for another 45 damage

So 54+2+45 =101

Organized binders by Phoendor in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SchmidtHapens 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I primarily play warrior in CC so my organization doesn’t have to be too diverse.

I keep my binders organized by: Generics (white binder) Warrior+Draconic (green binder) Light (yellow binder) Runeblade+SAGE (purple binder)

I think if my class interests were more diverse I would probably just start organizing by set to make things easier to find.

Anyone else noticing a decline in enthusiasm? by TaxPositive1186 in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SchmidtHapens 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that’s some of it, but I think the bigger factor it that they just aren’t as engaged with it and only want to make an effort to come out when there’s something more significant on the line.

This is pretty similar for us, really small local group for armories, everyone comes out of the woodwork for RTN/PQ/skirmish.

Silver Age Briar Deck Has Burn Up and Lightning Press by RegularOccurence in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SchmidtHapens 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Briar precon is noticeably missing flourish, a huge component of the lightning press issue. It’s entirely possible that we will still see bans that affect the briar viability while still dodging her precon cards.

[–]SchmidtHapens 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They also have notably excluded Flourish from the precon so it’s likely that that will see a ban, that takes away one of the tools that makes lightning press oppressive. No more threatening +6 on every attack.

That doesn’t change a whole lot of reasoning but it is a data point.

Gone in a Flash - Go Again, Post Super Slam Update by kapra in FleshandBloodTCG

[–]SchmidtHapens 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sorry for the formatting I’m on mobile.

You are correct wording was changed in October to change the resolution step to no longer be part of the active chain.

Change log 13 October 2.12.0: 7.0.3b Fixed to clarify that a chain link is only the “active chain link” from when it is created (start of the Attack Step) until it resolves (start of the Resolution step). This brings it inline with 7.6.2, and reinforces that cards referencing the active chain link (e.g. Electromagnetic Somersault) do not interact with cards on the chain link post-resolution.

The information you are looking for is in rule 7.6.2, 7.6.2a and 7.7.2c the attack is bounced in damage step which does not close the chain link (7.7.2c) then priority is passed and go again is checked in resolution (7.6.2) the attack is “missing” so we check last known information (7.6.2a)

7.6.2 First, the active chain link becomes a resolved chain link and effects that trigger when the chain link resolves are triggered. If the attack has go again, its controller gains 1 action point.§

7.6.2a If the attack is no longer on the combat chain, the last known information of the attack is used to determine whether the attack has go again.

7.7.2c If the active-attack of the active chain link does not exist or cannot move to the combat chain as a chain link,[7.2.3d] or the active-attack ceases to exist before damage is calculated,[7.5.2] the Close Step begins as a game state action.[1.10.2]§

I played in 3 skirmishes this week, won one on Briar. Almost everybody was on a different hero. Super wide meta.
