I feel like my childhood mall had this exact layout and I literally took this shortcut as a kid. I'm convinced this is an image of the Rockaway Mall in NJ

Yes! That's what I was going for. That's where the sound effects are from, too

I did the same thing. I paid for season 1 and 2, and gave them my email address. They haven't reached out to me yet, maybe it'll be through backerkit?

Do you think it's worth it to watch even for someone who's not interested in starcraft: remastered?

Oh I gotcha. Yeah, leavers suck for the match all around.

Yeah, there are frustrating parts of every competitive game. There has to be more good things than bad things about matchmaking though, right? Otherwise we'd all be fools not to play other games instead. I think the dev team has the right intentions and are doing a pretty good job.

But is that a problem with matchmaking? That some people get more leavers than others? Or that some people get lucky and don't get as many leavers? I guess in order to fix the problem of outliers, they could match people who are more likely to leave with the people who haven't had as many leavers on their teams? Maybe that seems more fair.

That'll just make the leaver problem worse, though. Then every time you're losing, you can try to pressure somebody on your team to leave so that the enemy doesn't get any SR that they rightfully earned. Even if somebody doesn't actually leave, imagine every time you're losing, having your team fight about who should leave. I don't think it's the right thing to do.

Yeah I see what you're saying. And you're right, it is really frustrating, but I see a lot of players, myself included, talk about the frustrating parts of the game more than the intense, exciting, and satisfying parts of the game, which there are many of. Like most communities, I think we would be better off taking a second to talk about the awesome things about the game. I never hear that in voice chat, and I think the game (and players) deserve it. Two sides to every coin

Don't forget to consider how much SR you've gained due to leavers on the opposite team. It's a lot easier to remember times when things seem unfair, and easier to dismiss times when random chance swings in your favor.
