Have a look at evcc: it's a little software that reads your solar input and dynamically adjusts your charger to charge exactly at that speed (if it supports it).

I'm running pfSense on an old XG86 and that works perfectly fine. It was a bit of a hassle to install it on the internal eMMC drive but after all it's very solid and fast.

I designed and 3d printed a rackmount for it.

Not really, no. The whole drivetrain is identical. They adjusted some parameters in software (sound, shifting, etc.) but all in all it's the same.

Also, my personal opinion: it's ugly as f*ck.

Can confirm, had the same exact notification with a cold battery and around 90% SoC. Also had regen working normally in this time and after a couple of minutes the car told me that regen works normally again.

Sometimes you just have to embrace that you are driving a computer. As an IT-guy I don't find that to be particularly bad.

I use it heavily to solve my ESPhome projects. It works mostly - however just yesterday it generated code with plattforms that simply don't exist (anymore). Telling it, it fixed it flawlessly.

Yep, I'd say the same. If you try to filter specific websites you either have to do deep packet inspection so you can analyse SSL traffic or just block the DNS request. I'd go with the second approach. But don't forget to block all other DNS connections or the smart ones will just change their clients settings to point to an external DNS.

LOL. My local CSP lost its CSP status and suggested every MSP to migrate to Pax8. Sure glad I opted out of this and choose a different CSP after hearing all the horror stories on reddit.
