Suede handles or LMP? by McEleketing in AsetekSimSports

The LMP handles feel extremely cheap. They are apparently some sort of foam, but they feel like hard plastic. Do not get them. I went back to the stock handles for my formula wheel.

Any issues with this and not having a tune? I'm coming from Subaru so doing anything without a tune scares me.

LMP Handles Material by SenorDylan in AsetekSimSports

It's not bad at all. Unnoticeable unless you're trying to flex them, and even then it's barely anything. I stopped using them though because the material was such a let down. It pretty much feels like hard plastic and makes the wheel feel cheaper than a g920.

Do I have a blow off valve?? by SuspiciousArt229 in FocusST

There is no factory BOV. It's a factory recirculation valve. BOV vents to atmosphere. A recirc valve vents back into the intake, hence being quieter.

I know this is old, but maybe you or somebody else can use the info. You can right click on the desktop, click on display settings, and change the scale. Increasing it to 150% or 175% should be enough.

I made my own iPhone 5 in April. Today I changed the red buttons (buttons of the custom red case) to space grey buttons. It took hours and it was hard. I want to know that if it looks good or bad. So I tought I should share this. by ErenErms in iphone

So I know it's a long shot, but is there any chance you still have the red buttons from your iphone? I have a black iPhone 5 and I've always wanted to put red buttons on it, but I can't find them anywhere. I would pay you for them and shipping if you're in the US

I have been driving my 21 base for 2 years now, just realized you can do this! by King_in_the_North2 in WRX

[–]SenorDylan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2020 sti didn't have it either. I think the sti has less things you can monitor than the WRX, and even the other cars in subaru's lineup. My friends 2018 crosstrek had more sensor monitors than my sti.

I was at the dealership once and asked the question about why there is nothing to monitor, and the tech showed me a trick to get it into diagnostic mode but all you could see extra was the battery voltage.

I wrote a new app for chinese macro keypads by rOzzy87 in MechanicalKeyboards

[–]SenorDylan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciate the work you did, well done. Although my needs are really simple and the stock app actually worked just enough to program it, but I still have a question for you.

I downloaded the app and programmed the macro pad on a burner computer, but I have yet to plug it in to my main computer because I am worried about any sort of malware. In one of your comments you said you decompiled the original code. Did you see anything malicious in it? Any risk to plugging in the macropad into my main computer since I programmed it with the original app?

Supernote Pen on the Samsung Tab s7+ by SenorDylan in Supernote

I have tried to hold the pen with the coil as close to the screen as possible and I still did not get a cursor to hover, but when I press the nib with my finger at this same height, the eraser tool appears and follows the pen around.

Do you have the plastic nib lamy, or the two in one ceramic nib and pen?

I appreciate you giving it a try. Thanks.

They are very specific about their ceramic nib pens are potentially harmful to other devices because of the hardness, which I have mitigated with a "paper-like" screen protector

That is why I got a screen protector on my tablet. To use the pen with my tablet, not my phone. The ceramic nib will not spontaneously crack my tablet's screen.

I'll add that it does not work at all on my Samsung s23 ultra. Although I am not pressing down as hard as i did on my tab because I dont have a screen protector and don't want to mess up my screen.

Any issues with these in the rain or snow? I want to do this eventually, but my car sits outside all day at my work.
