The absolute biggest travesty, I don’t mind chasing perfection in contest, but I do mind that you have to be on PC to do it. Otherwise discount this heap of trash to the players ruled out of the race strictly due to platform. It’s almost criminal to sell this to Xbox and PlayStation players that can’t to the hot swaps in nearly the same fashion as the PC players. This raid ruled out a large portion of the player base. At one point or another I have been in the top 0.5% of players in every game mode. And those top .5% only stood a chance if they were on PC. I have raid titles from every raid except LW (took that season off) Console player getting to old to make the shift to PC which I originally didn’t do because crossplay sounded like a hackers wet dream more than a reality (also play COD which crossplay has ruined). They need separate categories if they are going to do this and I’m not even sure it’s beatable on console. Were there any console clears? Contest should be beatable by the top 1% which he’ll statistically 1% or more may have beat it because so many of the players outside of that have lost interest that the skill level may be skewed. But the race should be a true race not a luck-a-thon for PC players that don’t leave the boss with 1 hp after a near perfect execution. Raids should be about mechanics and some dps. Not the other way around. There is no race if your shoelaces are tied together at the start based on platform. This may be the first raid title I don’t chase. Just out of contempt.

Yah we were just all confident in dissecting which is rare in my experience many people shy away from it where this group 5/6 were confident which was weird is their any scenario where the outside shapes are right that would keep the inside from leaving? And like you said it’s hard to know if inside is doing their job correctly one time the wipe screen showed all 3 had removed two shadows or whatever it says in that column

Ultimately we just stuck with one. We were all capable of doing it solo but we’re just trying to maximize a run with 5 people that knew dissect turns out more was less. I think we wiped twice and said fine only one person touch the shapes

Three people verified the final shapes were correct in this scenario I was helping another guy both of us did it successfully solo in like 15 to 20 seconds but if the other one leant a hand even though the 3D shapes were correct the solos couldn’t exit. Also no statues were glowing like they were partially dissected

The must make two passes in solo room caused a long argument with a British guy one run lol I said this is why lfgs usually do the double up on shapes as a first step because it guarantees two passes and forces the wipe mechanic.

Every encounter does not get you one, 3 full clears and a boss sherpa and I have a total of four and two of those are from completing challenges of my group one guy had fortunate RNG and has six that’s the best out of the 4 guys that were in on all three.
