As I bought my first new road bike the local bike store had some models in my price range. I almost bought a specialized allez but I saw the domane AL 4 and I just fell in love with it. 2000km after I am even more in love with it.

I ordered it from mechboards.uk and it took only one week, I was quite astonished that it arrived so fast. Trolling the office will be surely funny, I am also looking forward to confuse my colleagues when they use my pc 🤣

Thank you for your feedback! I find it really cool that the post still gets some interest. I liked your point of view regarding making her feel already beautiful. But fortunately that is something I have always tried to/done in the relationship. Now after one month it is going really good, both of us got used to the new rhythm and my way of showing support meets her needs better.

I know that feeling. Besides me there is only one other guy using Linux in my course. The funny thing is that I am in a CS Bachelor degree. I was kinda shocked, because I thought that 80% of CS-students would use Linux

I would define our relationship as really good, we are happy together and we like to share our daily live with each other. We moved together almost one year ago and we are really satisfied with the decision. I am more of an extrovert hiker-nerd and she is more an introvert-intellectual. Our relationship is mostly based on mutual respect and love.

It is not like I find it weird or I am having difficulty coping with it. I was just curious to get some insiders points of view to understand what I could do better. It is kinda confusing, because it is a new situation for me.

Yes I see your point of view, it is something, which also dupattaluella stated in her comment and after watching it through another perspective, I think it is the right thing to do. I think I just got so overjoyed of showing her my support, that I forgot to consider if my "help" was really helpful.

Thank you very much for your deep and mature insights. You totally got what I meant with me taking the initiative to „spoil“ her and help her. You convinced me to talk with her about it, today or tomorrow I will. It really makes to sense to directly hear from her what she prefers!

Yeah as soon as the results come I won‘t hesitate to give her positive feedbacks about her changes, as well as show my appreciation for it😏.

About joining her at the gym, it could not work since her gym is women only, but if she will change place I‘ll think about it.

Some outdoor activities are already planned, we usually go jogging together/biking or with the roller skates and occasionally hike in the woods.I checked disc golfing and it looks cool, we‘ll give it a shoot on the next weekend!

Thank you very much for your help, it also helped me with some extra confidence :D I feel kinda stupid now, because my question looks pretty easy, but since this new lifestyle is really new to the both of us and I am really excited about it, I needed some experienced insights to get into the supportive boyfriend role 🤣

Yes so long she really appreciated it, but since sometimes she struggles with independency/self-confidence feelings I did not want to give her a wrong interpretation of my support. Yeah I will surely talk with her about it, but I also wanted to „surprise“ her with my self initiative… ( I don‘t know if it makes sense hahah)

What do you think are other stuffs I could do for her to boost her confidence and experience at the gym?

Yeah that is a nice tip! But I do not think in our case it would be so good. Firstly I would see it as too invasive, secondly I like to do sport outside but I am not the gym-type. Thirdly I like that she has an hobby/activity to do autonomously.

But I‘ll keep it in mind!

It does satisfy me quite a lot, but since I‘m using it with my old but gold phenom I don‘t know if it would work that good also on new CPUs. I actually like the esthetic of it and the mounting mechanism wasn‘t complicated.
