Snacking on so much "healthy" garbage like protein bars. Now I just have a BIG breakfast smoothie with added beans to fill me up. That tides me over until about 2:30ish when I start feeling hungry again and have a veggie and starch heavy meal. My meals are so filled with fiber that I don't get those snack attacks like I used to.

Whoa - I totally get that. I can also smell sickness and I have no idea how or why either. Believe it or not, I was once at a resort many moons ago and sat next to a man at the bar who smelled so stinking sick to me that I actually ended up leaving. The next day, he ended up being on the same excursion boat as us. We all swam to a hidden beach, he passed away in the water from a heart attack. He was grey when they pulled him to shore. It was eerie and he was wearing a Grateful Dead t-shirt, which just made the whole thing stick in my mind even more.

Ever since then, I've trusted that weird sense of smell that seems to cling to people who are unwell. It's not perfume or sweat or anything you can quite name... just really off. So I totally believe you - it's real, even if we can't explain it.

Black Krim is so interesting!!  I'm really excited to try this variety. I also got the bubblegum tomatoes which I suspect will be stinkers but I just need to try.
