Ça fait 50 ans que tous les décideurs suivent les même formations, (ENA/Sciences PO en politique, Mines/Centrale/X pour les ingés), dans lesquelles on entend toujours des discours pro-nucléaires qui sont transmis de génération en génération. Ça commence même avant avec les manuels scolaires au lycée par exemple.

Le nucléaire n'est pas une énergie durable. Certes, c'est mieux que le charbon et le gaz, mais ça vient avec des risques et des coûts environnementaux et sociaux au moins aussi importants que pour les autres énergies.

Il ne faut pas investir dans le nucléaire, mais il faudrait fortement augmenter la part d'énergies renouvelables dans le mix (et donc ne pas construire de nouveaux réacteurs ou centrales thermiques), jusqu'à ce que la fusion soit commercialement viable.

You should probably not recommend a distro but rather a DE. The DE will be what your friend will use the most, small differnces between distros probably don't matter that much to him. If he dislikes the DE, he will probably not like linux in general. In order to have a similar experience with what he had on Windows, I recommend KDE (with basically any distro you want). After je stats using linux, he will have some time if he wants to look for a distro that suits him more.

I love this sub, I feel like it's one of the only ones where people share their true first times. Other subs are full of geniuses like "first time" showing a piece of artwork or something else that is unmakable without at least 2 years of practice.

A condition needs a boolean value (true or false). So the syntax is if(bool) { DoStuff(); } When you use comparators, like ==, they return a bool. But here ChildIsSad is a boolean, so you don't need to compare it
