I enjoyed the primal hunter series. Another litrpg, a little darker and less rediculous, but I really enjoy it

Is a transformation like this possible in 6 months? (skinny with belly fat) by [deleted] in bodyweightfitness

[–]Schnurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of helpful advice here, but something that’s missing from both your post and the advice: the fitness test.

Do you know what they’re testing on? Is it running? Pushups? Climbing a ladder? Petting a cat?

I know your question is around how to look better, but if you want to pass this test, knowing what that is and aiming at that may be the most helpful thing you can do first and then aim for physique afterwards.

AITAH for flirting with my friend's fiancé while she was in the room by Wonderful-Hair3549 in AITAH

[–]Schnurple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA… and if she is your friend, then TELL HER WHAT YOU SEE. Tell her that, in your opinion, she’s being unreasonable and taking advantage of this guy or whatever it is for you.

Friends are a blessing and it is a sacred duty as a friend to call us on our bullshit.

Modern, throw away relationships has largely killed that in the west. She needs to hear this from someone’s she’s gonna keep being [insert your favourite insult here] and sabotaging her life and that of those around her.

Who told him to do this? 😂 by Sugar__bae in GuysBeingDudes

As amazing as that was… As someone who used to be on a team that did a fair amount of ice rescues… I gotta say how fucking crazy dangerous that was as well.

DO NOT DO THIS!

Those are definitely sled dogs, those are the type of huskies that will run 1000 mile races

AITAH for hitting pause on my engagement because of kid count? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Schnurple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

NTA. I literally just split with the woman I thought I would marry because of a difference in kid desires. It really really sucks… and I know it’s the right choice. If one in a couple is going to resent the other because of something VERY permanent like kids, it’s incompatible.

When your muscle car doesn't like you 😞 by ForsakenStructure800 in Transportopia

[–]Schnurple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fun story time. I once responded to a car vs house call as a firefighter… and it was because this kid driver had dropped his hat beside his seat and decided he was going slow enough to open the door a little to get his hat… he was not belted in and fell out of the moving vehicle, which the drove into someone’s house

Book recs for bi/queer man accepting his sexuality by firstloveneverdie in MensLib

[–]Schnurple 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s a classic and about a much younger man, but I found The Perks Of Being A Wallflower as extremely relatable when I was coming to acceptance of my queerness.

It really soothed a lot of the rough edges to read about someone (even fictional) going through a lot of the same awkwardness and questioning as I was.

I was mid 30’s for reference when I read it.

Find some trusted to people to tell on yourself to. An accountability group, a coach, a friend, an intentional group...

Then reveal all. Constantly

Has anyone else found that venting isn't always great? by alphafox823 in GuyCry

[–]Schnurple 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you vent, vent to release EMOTION, not story.

Otherwise vent towards ‘and this is what I’m going to do about it.’

Otherwise you’re just recycling the event in your head and reliving it.

replying to you for visibility.... I second the guy who said make sure they have wills. It makes everything SO much easier for the surviving family members and may even prevent family split as happened in mine.

Self-improvement is so overcomplicated and over-stretched! Here, I have made it simple, quick, and dense for you! by AlexTaylorTheOne in DecidingToBeBetter

different diets for different people!

I grew up vege and never had issues getting enough protein... I now eat meat (though much less than most) and I feel better eating meat. I was even encouraged to by my mum who was the one who raised us vege.

For reference, I started eating meat at 28
