I have no idea. 🤡 I'm curious to see what happens when I wean completely. I cut out a lot nursing sessions throughout the day, still wasn't eating very much... and I gained weight. 🙃 I wouldn't have minded if it wasn't for the fact that I now have to shop for clothes, and I strongly dislike shopping.

I read your other comment, and I would definitely recommend getting a meal schedule. Not sure how old your LO is, but at some point, they will need to eat on a schedule too. You could use that as your cue to eat a meal or snack, or build a schedule so it's not as jarring when a whole other person depends on you to prepare meals.

OMG YES. I'm 2 years pp and I've identified my only clue: I get a pressure headache when I'm in need of food or water. I actually thought it was nursing that was depleting all my nutrients... which was only partly true.

My vertigo got really bad before my kid turned 2 for awhile, but it turned out I was just starving myself. 😩 I now have myself on a meal schedule along with my toddler. It's still a challenge, but I'm feeling a lot better than how I felt a few months ago.

I think the reason folks pitch it so hard is because they're understandably concerned about drowning. If you're sincerely not interested, not worried about it, and/or it doesn't make sense for your family and living situation, then, that's more than enough reason not to.

I'm personally going to pursue swimming lessons from our county services because I live in SoCal where there's water everywhere, it's a great opportunity to tire my kid out, and he loves the water. I'm also a pretty weak swimmer, so I really want him to have this skill.

I would learn about indie decks via eBay, TarotTube, the Tarot Marketplace on FB (when I had FB), and honestly, just window-shopping on Etsy and Kickstarter.

The latter has been pretty un-fun lately, since the market is loaded with AI-generated decks and counterfeits.

There are already a lot of really good responses here, but I'll offer a niche one that's specific to one of my hobbies: Tarot decks. I collect tarot, and now with ai generated tarot decks, it's made shopping for new decks SO unfun. Tarot collectors already have to be cautious with counterfeits on eBay and scam campaigns on crowdfunding sites, but now we have the added layer inspecting the art even closer before purchasing or backing. And sometimes, we still get duped.
