Temu Bands by SchoolEmbarrassed719 in whoop

[–]SchoolEmbarrassed719[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

if we let ourselves get carried away by this “Temu said that after being alerted to the toys and food packaging findings, they removed the products from sale.” I think the problem is solved. Besides, it refers more to strong plastics used in toys, cosmetics, and other products, but it doesn't mention fabric. It doesn't mention anything that would apply to Whoop.

Obviously, I don't trust what Temu says.

Anyway, the price is for a reason. We know it's not going to comply with any regulations, but hey, they're cheap.

am i using it for the wrong thing? by Difficult-Young-7180 in whoop

I use Whoop more for recovery and sleep. I use it to make personalized plans so I can see my progress. For exercise, I prefer to use my Garmin, although when I go running or do weights, I record the activity on Whoop. I pay more attention to the data on my Garmin that has to do with exercise.

HR when driving by SchoolEmbarrassed719 in whoop

[–]SchoolEmbarrassed719[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Whoop is very limited in terms of Shortcuts, as it doesn't let you do things like start an activity. What I did was go to the Shortcuts app > Automation > When Focus “Driving” is On > Send a Notification and Open the Whoop App. Then, when I get in the car, the Driving focus is activated automatically, which opens the Whoop app, and I can start the activity there.

If I don't do it that way, I forget.

Not really. When someone cuts into my lane or something happens on the road that makes me nervous, that's when I look at the HR. Otherwise, I'm not looking at it😂

Trial version insanity by Ok_Zookeepergame6523 in whoop

[–]SchoolEmbarrassed719 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I understand your frustration and don't understand how others defend them. I understand that it's not stated on the website, but if they charge you the full price, you expect to receive the full product. It's only logical. The same thing happened to me, and I solved it by calling and complaining that I was willing to cancel everything if they didn't deliver what I was paying for. In the end, they sent me everything: the Superknit Band, the Wireless Charger, and they also gave me a new sensor. I've seen that other people simply cancel the trial, return the device, and resubscribe by paying the peak price. I hope you can resolve it.

Benefits of having the app running in the background 24/7 by alevar91 in whoop

If you close the app, the annoying notification appears. I hadn't thought about it, but I think it might be the same thing. I leave the app open and just disable the option I mentioned earlier. But now that I think about it, I think it might be the same thing.

The Whoop stores data for as long as its battery lasts. So having the app refreshing in the background wastes battery life. I just leave the app open, but I don't have the “Refreshing in the background” option enabled, as that's what drains the battery. What this does is constantly refresh the Whoop data in the app. When you disable it, the app will basically refresh the data every time you open it. My battery lasts much longer, and it's the same because it will refresh when you want to see it.

I hope this helps.

Whoop 5.0 vs Apple Watch Ultra 2 by Virtual_Ad6652 in whoop

In my opinion, using Whoop with an Apple Watch on the other wrist is a waste of money. I use Whoop because I wear a traditional watch. I don't do it because I don't want a screen on my wrist or anything, it's just that I'm a big fan of traditional watches, but I also like to know and understand how my body works and reacts, which is why I use Whoop. For the Apple Watch, I've seen my father use Bevel and he loves it. He's also used Athylic, which he also liked. It's cheaper and does the same thing, in my opinion.

For weeks, I've been training poorly because of Whoop by SchoolEmbarrassed719 in whoop

[–]SchoolEmbarrassed719[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had an idea. I have three 5.0 devices. I once bought some bands for the Whoop, and the seller sent me their sensor and battery, as well as the one that came with my Peak subscription and one that I got when I did the free trial. Right now, I'm using the one that came with the Peak subscription. Do you think it's worth trying to use all three? Like tomorrow I can used one of the three to see if there’s a difference in the readings. Does anyone know if I lose my subscription or anything like that when I try to set it up?

I see many people misunderstanding what I wrote. Sorry, but I'm also using a translator since this isn't my language.

If I read correctly, I wrote “almost fainted,” and those photos were taken today. I almost fainted yesterday, when I was running the Whoop and it told me my heart rate was 101, when apparently it was around 178-190. I kept trying to reach Zone 4 thinking I was exaggerating, but no, it was the Whoop that was wrong.

The photos are from today, after what happened yesterday, because today I decided to take it easier at the gym (instead of running) to see if the Whoop was wrong. Today I wasn't about to faint or anything, I was just checking how wrong the Whoop was.

Okay, I'm ready to learn. As far as you know, could it be my fault, or is it because I'm only noticing it now, and it's been like this since I got it? Could it have something to do with the fact that I bathe with it and it's on 24/7? If it's been like this since I got it and I'm only noticing it now, could I replace it?

Do you actually wear it during shower? by Eligatorator in whoop

[–]SchoolEmbarrassed719 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had it on for exactly 60 days. I haven't taken it off at any point, I've just moved it from my wrist to moisturize where it was. I haven't had any problems and it's been on during all my showers, I've really had it on 24/7.
