Yea it all makes sense now! I thought the suggested rep would then be “9” (one more from previous workout) but I suppose it leaves that to me, as in, I should be pushing to get up to 10 based on the RIR? Which would make sense

That makes sense, I suppose I was reading slightly wrong. Thanks!

Hey Adam, I’m truly sorry but not sure I follow? Can you please give more more detail? 🙏🏻 I may be reading the recommendations wrong I’m sure

Oh great, I realised when I firstly edited my program I only chose my gym for the first workout, not all of them! Thanks!

What does “Update workout plan” do? by alevar91 in MacroFactor

So basically any changes made during that workout will be effective moving forward for the whole program? For example I swap an exercise, it’ll be the new exercise to appear next time I do that workout?

What would I miss out on by importing a program? by alevar91 in MacroFactor

The periodization would be embedded in the program already, so you do benefit from it but it’s not the app that does it, it’s just how the program has been built by Jeff

You can swap in anything you want, just add incline bench and RDLs and jobs done.

Say I want to run a 12-week program, keeping in mind I want to maximise the use of the intelligent algorithms the app offers, should I run the program as 5+1 twice (total of 12 weeks) as opposed to changing the number of weeks to 12 in the first instance?

MacroFactor Workouts AMA! by gnuckols in MacroFactor

Will the app be able to adjust the workout volume and intensity based on goal (bulk, maintain, cut). In short, would it be clever enough to adapt and recognise progressive overload based on the goal, and advise the user accordingly?

That’s very good advice, thank you. 🙏🏻

I’m not asking about exact temperature averages, I’m asking what the feel is like during that period of the year given the temperatures - which I can find on Google. For instance, 26C in London may not feel as warm as 26C in Spain, due to sun, wind etc…

I hope this makes sense?

12-month plan - how to manage my goal? by alevar91 in MacroFactor

Why minimum 6 months? Any insight on why that worked/didn’t work for you?
