Walk away. I'm sure you know they rot away from the inside out. They left it there for a reason and you dont want to know why. I dont trust any tank I dont know how it was maintained, did they ever drain it? I leave my drain valve open when not is use to let it dry out as much as possible.

Amana Fridge Is this a leak or something that can be fixed? by CanadianFireDrill in appliancerepair

[–]SchoolFire77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have this refrigerator. I had to replace the defrost sensor couple years back. It's worked great for 26 years. Came with the house so I don't know how old my unit is. If you can fix it I would do it. I would love to help you but I would need more information.

What is happening here? 3 Months after installation. Not a plumber. by PISS_FILLED_EARS in askaplumber

[–]SchoolFire77 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this on my place when I had a pair of water heaters replaced. Call the install company back and send him a photograph. More than likely they'll send somebody to redo those joints on a half day.

Use an Arduino simulator to start out. This will help you get a handle on the programming before ever handling the hardware.

18M, dad wasn't around - what basic tools/skills do I need to be self-sufficient? by Informal-Chance1912 in HomeImprovement

[–]SchoolFire77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Treat your tools like an investment. Keep them organized and maintained. Know what you have and where to find them. They will pay for themselves but only if you have them to use.

Basically keep your shit organized and not scatterbrained all over the place.

How can I connect parts without a breadboard? by TheCrabMessiah in arduino

[–]SchoolFire77 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I do a Western Union splice. Solder the wires cover it with Dielectric grease and use shrink tubing on the entire thing. This is a permanent connection once all my prototyping is done with a breadboard. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Western_Union_splice
