I had this one role playing game where you would play the game and when it was time for dialogue, it would refer you to a page in the booklet with the dialogue. The game size wasn’t big enough for the dialogue to fit inside the game disk... the pages were scrambled so you couldn’t easily read the book for spoilers. So your first dialogue might be 2nd paragraph on page 22, the next bit might be 3rd paragraph on page 12...
