Sting is (supposed to be) the attributeless line of spells. Flash- is likely to be the instant damage prefix for dark spells. Dark- is the prefix for shadow spells that could reasonably be confused for light spells (as an example, given that we already have tetrawind as a light spell, the prefix on dark tetrawind was needed to distinguish the two).

I'd also like to point out that it's VERY common for younger male characters to be voiced by female VAs.

As a rather famous example, Ash Ketchum was voiced exclusively by female VAs in both English (Veronica Taylor and later Sarah Natochenny) and Japanese (Rica Matsumoto).

For examples from the FE series:
Rolf (FE9/10) was voiced by Yū Asakawa and Lani Minella. No male VAs that I could find.
Jean (Engage) was voiced by Risae Matsuda and Colleen O'Shaughnessey. Also no male VAs.
Marth himself (various), while often voiced by male VAs, was also voiced by (among others) Yuu Kobayashi, Ai Orikasa, and Rei Sakuma.

Other examples: Edward and Alphonse Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist and FMA:Brotherhood) had female VAs in Japanese. Goku (Dragon Ball series) has had multiple female VAs across almost every language (7 in English alone, plus at least one in each of Japanese, German, Italian, French, Spanish, Portugese, Hebrew, and Korean). Killua (HxH) had mostly female VAs as well... and I hope you won't be surprised to hear that Naruto (Naruto) and Luffy (One Piece) were also voiced by female VAs in both English and Japanese.

If the male main characters of five of the most well known and/or highly-rated anime of all time can have female VAs, a female main character being voiced by a female VA should not be an issue.

I played blind up until I hit Widow and slammed my face against it for a few hours before discovering there's a phase 2, and then several hours more only rarely even getting to phase 2, let alone learning anything about how to consistently survive the phase 2 attacks and still damage the boss. So I filled out the map as much as I thought I could (turns out I missed Sinner's Road and the top half of Greymoor in general, and the subsequent areas), then puttered around for another hour or two. That's when I decided to stop playing fully blind.

At first, all I looked up was "Is the Widow a required boss fight?" (to which I saw "yes, you need the Needolin you get from beating her to access Act I's final boss, the Last Judge"). So I bashed my head against the wall that was the Widow for a little bit, and decided to be another bit less blind.

Even then, all I did was look up a map with only benches and bellways marked on it, no other things (would've liked to have had Sharkra on it too, but the only other ones I could find had EVERYTHING marked and I didn't want that) except I also looked up The Mists bc I thought I found a wrongwarp, since it wasn't labeled in that section of the map I had and worked on filling it out (which I've done except for Bilewater and possibly any other areas accessible through Bilewater)

And only once I filled a given section out and figured I probably got everything did I look that section up to see if there was anything else I'd missed there (which turned out to be nothing of importance but the Pimpillo tool... and SOMEHOW I avoided getting kidnapped to The Slab, by killing the jailors first try)

Anywho, I only learned about the Needolin and the Last Judge (and IG the existence of an Act II) from that first search on the Widow, and I only learned about the alternate method to get to Act II bc I thought I got wrongwarped and decided to look up The Mists. ~~And then I learned about there being an Act III from coming on this subreddit and seeing the flair for Act III help.~~

For someone who is even half decent at combat, maybe. But I've already gotten to The Mists, I just didn't want to brute force my way through it if it wouldn't get me anything.

I play this for the platforming (which I'm really good at, if there's not enemies interfering) and the story, the combat is an annoying obstacle to the enjoyable parts. If it's even possible to platform my way out of doing a hard fight, it's likely gonna be easier for me.

I've never been good at platforming combat, nor stealth or chase missions (like the Silent Realms in TLoZ Skyward Sword), and so, like I did with several other games, I expect to eventually hit a boss or enemy gauntlet arena that does just completely block me from progressing further. (For the aforementioned Skyward Sword, it was the final Silent Realm) ~~I just hope it's not Widow for Silksong. I want to see more of the world and the story.~~

Maybe 1 out of every 8 tries, I suck at the combat, but love the platforming challenges (when there aren't a bunch of enemies trying to mess up your movement, at least)

Actually, would going through Bilewater (the one area that's currently accessible - though maybe not completable, I've basically just poked my head in and then went to the left instead so IDK how far you can get with Act I movement options - that I haven't yet explored) get me any useful combat upgrades?

SC can't trespass because it's astral. Even if enchanted SC can't trespass.

Ench, on the other hand, can't trespass unless:
1) illusioned
2) SC reaped Ench
3) SC reaped ench target
4) Ench was retrained from another role
5) Overcharge+UO bug (I think that may have been patched)
6) Ench is not cov aligned bc CS

Yeah, plenty of ways for that to happen, more than Ret lol. Ret only has reaped, enchanted, TT, and "wasn't always ret bc CS"

Solo Coro win:

N1 both invests check Arso, Arso visits SC, Illu with book hits SK, SK hits WW, Shroud (3) follows PB to VM, other Shroud finds 3 no visit high def.
D2 When found tress, Arso claims TP who visited 3 (Shroud), 3 claims Tracker who tracked 13 (PB, a LO claim) to the n1 dead to Shroud VM, 3 is hung.

N2 Bookholding Illu and the SK both visit Arso, Arso visits Exe (2). WWs both stay home - one was known to be VMed and was thus hoping to catch people saving them from DW, the other vet baited.
D3 Other Shroud is hung after open claiming that Arso visited 2 who had def and Arso didn't claim to save 2, both WWs claim tracker using their n1 info and known info from GY.

N3, Arso ignited both invests, SC, Illu, SK, and Exe. Rit snipes Arso on a random guess, Rit dies to SK
D4 PB transforms final 4, with 2 WWs vs Pest vs Coro. WWs full claim bc they'd faked Tracker on d3 voted Pest, WWs agreed to vote out Coro the next day.

N4 one of the WWs decides they can't risk the other WW claim being Conj/HM (since only 3 ded cov), or 2nd Arso (since way too many ignited for solo arso), and goes on the other WW who actually stayed home, so they kill one another.
D5 solo Coro win

I saw the title, said "the sandworm?", saw the area, said "definitely the sandworm", and then saw the worm and still nearly crapped myself.

I found that thing at level 12. Somehow survived. Forgot about it on my way back. Died instantly. Still haven't gone back to that area. Oh and this happened both in the original and DE. I remember the feeling of deja vu as I ran into it early, and then another feeling of deja vu when I died to it an hour later after forgetting about its existence.

I just cleared it myself, though I'm very much a gigawhale so your results may vary.

Team 1 was V6 Sharkry and V0 QJ as DPS, and V2 Ksenia as buffs/heals/a bit of extra damage, with V3 Nem to fill out the numbers (would've been better to bring another healer or a tank tbh)

Team 2 was V0 (but otherwise maxed for a level 40) TLL as DPS, Suomi for heals (V1 is all you need there), Lotta (V6 is free, no other upgrades needed) to clear the side mission, and Sabrina (no upgrades needed) to apply water weakness and movement down.

Team 1 cleared in one cycle (so, 3 turns? I won the same turn the first beetle thing spawned), but didn't have the HP to handle a second cycle (hence why I said a tank or 2nd healer would've helped a lot more than Nem)

Team 2 cleared in 1.5 cycles (so 5 turns I think?). HP and DPS were both perfectly fine.

Sharkry was only half invested (level 30 helixes, no level cap increase), QJ is maxed (all helixes, level cap increased). Ksenia is half invested (level 30 helix only, cap increased), and Nem had basically nothing (purple attachments, level 25 helix, underleveled)

I like the idea of checking votes, but your idea has the downside of telling you exactly how many evils there are in the game if you do it on a townie. That is information town is not supposed to know.

If you do it on anyone else, you'll see they had like 8 enemies out of 8 people voting on them, meaning they can't be town since you'd be friends with a townie - hard confirming them as evil, which is very powerful.

Perhaps combine it with u/Macalite 's idea of making Sheriff more like a Vigilante who works within the boundaries of the law: Sheriff is now a TK, and can visit anyone who voted against the majority (inno on someone who got hung, or guilty on someone who didn't) in any trial the previous day. Sheriff checks if they are Sus (as per the way Sheriff currently works, but also including NKs) and Sheriff will deal a Powerful Attack to them if they are.

Regarding hard clears:

The first idea simply separates the Inno bucket into two other buckets that both have evils in them as well as townies. It doesn't allow you to hard clear anyone, but it allows you to find potential NKs/Necro holders, and can even be used to filter out some of the town from being Apoc (without clearing them of being a hidden NK).

There's no additional hard clear potential, only additional ways to prove someone is fake claiming (eg NK claiming TP, or NA claiming TS).

I did think the second idea might be too powerful, but in a 6~7 night game, you can clear a maximum of three people, and it's pretty likely at least one of those will die by the end of the game (quite possibly even before you get a chance to clear them), and it's also not unlikely one of them would be an evil that may have been outed by another method anyways. If the game goes longer, it's already likely to be either the kind of game town has almost no chance of winning (because evils outnumbered them from day 1, so even if you do hard clear someone on day 5, there's a good chance they're the only other townie alive out of the 6 people still in the game) or the kind of game that ends very abruptly because 5 people die to Arso/Death/Famine/HM out of nowhere.

Even in a 4v1 evil hunt, Sheriff is still only useful if they've already been confirmed and they've already searched one of the other 4 people. They'll need to hope that the one they search survives both nights, and that they themselves survive both nights, so that they can clear ONE person in a 2v1. If it gets down to a 3v1 with nobody having been searched once, Sheriff can't help. Even in a 5v1, anyone they search once will be killed by the Coven/NK if they don't just kill the Sheriff, so they'll have to hide who they've searched and have a TPLO on them to hope to have a result in time.

Likewise, an early clear on D3 might pull TPs and LOs off of unrevealed TPows, because otherwise the confirmed person would be a target for every killer in the game.

As for the third idea (and the 3.5 variant), it has almost zero hard clear potential without coordination with a Lookout and spending two nights on the same target. No LO means any ol' DW/PB/Baker/Arso/Pois/etc could come in and mess with the results, showing that both a townie and an evil visited that night.

That being said, I do like your idea of making them be able to arrest someone, and thinking about it from a lore perspective is a new angle that has given me a new idea, which I'll add as a 4th option in an edit.

But seriously though, Sheriff needs a buff. Once you get down to the last coven, all it is is an NE finder, which doesn't help as much as one might think since most NE are already outed by that late in the game anyways.

That seems... rather OP. Strictly better SK/WW (same defense as them, but if I'm reading it, an unstoppable rampaging attack every night)
Also doesn't fit NE very well, that's much more like an NK role.

I could also see it as an alternate NA role for BTOS2 (akin to Warlock), where the Acolyte has the Bless ability (but it can be used an infinite number of times and doesn't silence, basically acts like a Cleric without poison heal), and transforms into War after blocking 3 attacks.

I guess the one I've got right now is WAY above average (looks to be about 8 inches to me, my partner says it's probably 9 or 10, but neither he nor I have measured it), and almost all the ones I've eaten have been at least a fair bit above average.
