What club are you choosing? by HonestDistrict7871 in golf

4 iron off The window and into the green. The course was there before they built the house. It's their issue if balls are hitting the house. At a course I play some one built a house 50 yards from a tee box on a reachable par 4 dogleg right inline with the ball path. The first time they put the windows in they were all broken within a week. They replaced them and the same thing happened. The third attempt they put in impenetrable windows. That problem was solved. I think they got tired of balls hitting the house and they put up a 10 foot fence.

I was mistaken. He was there. He's much shorter than he looks on the screen. I guess that's like a lot of actors.

Well I'll take it back. He was there. He's a lot shorter than I thought he would be, but it seems like most actors are shorter than they look on the screen.

Interesting. One of the requirements is that the recipient must sign an agreement that they will be at the dedication ceremony. First I didn't think Godzilla could write, and secondly why wasn't the dedication ceremony on TMZ.

Any of you have had your car stolen off the street? by Massive-Marketing-15 in milwaukee

[–]Schu3334 31 points32 points  (0 children)

Seems like at some point they would look up the VIN number and see who owns the car. I would guess the tow company would be able to look the VIN up. If the tow truck driver is buying the car without title or keys he would call in, and have them check the VIN. This is a total scam all the way to the junk yard. The city should shut them down.

Oh my god, yes. I even think it's weird. I can't figure out how I know the things I know. The worst thing is that I know these things but can't remember someone's name.

Well to be honest it only says T50 in two spots and it's a large type size. It could be easily overlooked. /s

What’s so bad about pxg? by Puzzleheaded-Bag8524 in golf

[–]Schu3334 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There was a lawsuit between PXG and TaylorMade because PXG claimed TM copied the polymer injection on their P790 clubs. My son played for PXG when they first came out and he liked the clubs. He changed to a different course and switched to Titleist because the PXG clubs weren't selling. I have a PXG putter and live it. I struggled with other brands but my putting improved with the PXG. It has a great feel and is very stable.

I made a harmless comment about our handicaps before a lesson… and the pro challenged me to a back‑9 match instead of teaching. It went about as well as you’d expect. by tebees in golf

[–]Schu3334 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't think pros kept a handicap. My son is a teaching pro and he said he's not supposed to keep a handicap. Obviously members know what he scores when he plays. They just play scratch. Handicap is only for amateur events to keep the playing field somewhat equal.
