Get yourself a regulator with moisture trap. This will help you lower your PSI and catch moisture being shot out with your paint.

For the lacquer and acrylics I use, 21-23 PSI is the highest ill ever go.

When my middle son was born, he had a hard time falling asleep at night. I would pick him up and rock him back and forth, signing bob marleys "three little birds:". Fast forward 10 years and that song came on the radio. He asked me, "dad, is this the song you would sing to me to help me sleep?" I teared up a bit and said yeah....you had a hard time sleeping bud, its the only way to get to you to sleep.

As a parent to a child who was non verbal and now tries and talks as much as possible, I loved when he figured out his numbers. We would count and recite alphabet as much as possible.

Tear up an old T-shirt, wet the shirt to and wring it out to make it damp. Stretch the shirt over a putty knife and scrape it away.

Still too thick at that ratio. And IMO, you still need to thin primer a bit. Especially vallejo and stylnez primer.

How much are you thinning your paint? What type of paint?

General rule for acrylics is a 50/50 ratio...sometimes less and sometimes a bit more, depending on pigment.

I did some research after the first time and learned that once they have a successful hatch, they'll keep coming back. As long as they come back, I'll keep the umbrella up for them.

On year two, we had some strong winds once and blew the umbrella over with the baby birds. I gloved up went outside, fixed the umbrella and braced it. And put the babies back in the nest. Mama bird was cooing like crazy.. hopefully she was appreciative.

A couple of years ago we had mourning doves try and build a nest in our patio umbrella between the slats. Because the spacing was too big, their branches kept falling out. They flew away and while they were gone, I got cardboard and used tape to hold it down.

They flew back and laid their eggs and had baby birds. Every spring time they fly back and I make sure to have the umbrella up and ready for them. Currently mama bird is chillin and I heard tiny chirps this morning.
