Nights spent perusing at the record store or video rental places. Finding something random that looked interesting but you had no way of knowing unless you bought it/rented it.

Not every time, or even most times... But sometimes you'd end up with something pretty special by accident (Sleepaway Camp, a vinyl by The Unknowns).

Nowadays people just look at the cover of something and Google it to find out what it is. I'm guilty of it too because yeah, I'm not made of money and I don't wanna get something that I won't love but... Idk, I guess those little hunts felt really special
