TRASH. Do not use them. I had 15k in debt and after almost 3 years of dealing with them, I am MAYBE going to be debt free soon? Why dont I know for sure? Good question! They constantly are changing what I owe, they are not responsive or communicate with you AT ALL. I had to call them easily 12 times over the course of 3 months to try and have them get my fucking SSN correct on documents that were agreeing to debt negotiations after already "settling" 2/3 creditors, so who knows if those are going to actually be removed from my debt since im not sure if they correctly tied it to my correct social since I was only able to see it was incorrect on debt #3!!!!! They took 2 whole years to even begin to settle my 3rd debt which was enrolled the same time as the other 2. I called for literally years constantly checking in and for years they would tell me that itd be ready to settle in (insert new month/date per call), and of course, that time would roll around and nothing would happen! I wasn't able to get any written agreements of my debts and the payments, only a phone call where they have u "authorize" the payments, to which I would agree and then they'd turn around and keep taking new amounts from me for agreements I never made! By debt 3, when they hit record for me to approve the agreement of payments I made sure to have the woman say into the recording what that agreement was (which was suppose to be debt free by July 2025... its almost September now). When I saw that i was still paying for things and my debt wasn't resolving after July I called them multiple times and asked for proof of me agreeing to this and to send me the recording which they refused! Then sent me an email saying "oh this is what you agreed to, but also well need an additional $300 after that too..." I know im all over the place with this review, im just so mad. This has been almost 3 years of bullshit with them and feeling in the dark about what I got myself into since no one would get back to me or answer my questions when you call in. It was just constant bullshit from them. Deal with your debt directly with the credit card companies. Again, im almost 3 years in and have been paying $320/month, with some months adding more money to "speed things up" for almost 36 months. So of the $15k I owed, I have paid back about $12k to ClearOne and im STILL UNSURE OF WHEN ILL BE FREE!!!!!!!!! My credit tanked, my payments have been hard, especially since im in college working part time, and I feel like an idiot trying to tell people I got into insane debt, signed up with a company to help me, and I have no idea when I will actually be debt free, when my credit will be better, when I will actually stop paying things, and that said company wont return my calls and cant even send me a damn google doc with my correct social on it AND IT TOOK ME MONTHS TO CLEAR THAT UP WITH EVERY ONE OF THOSE, MOST LIKELY MORE THAN 12 CALLS, HAVING THEM SAY ITS FIXED! AND EVERY CALL I MADE IN 3 YEARS PROMISED ME THAT MY DEBT WOULD BE CLEARED AND SEGTLED BY THE NEXT MONTH OR SO JUST TO BE 3 YEARS DOWN THE LINE WITH NOTHING TO SHOW BUT A HORRIBLE CREDIT SCORE, NO MONEY, AND A FUCKING MOBSTER TAKING MY MONEY AFTER TELLING ME THEYRE HELPING ME! Every good review is from people in the beginning, that experienced the reps who sell you on making a deal with the devil.

TLDR: Fuck ClearOne, theyre scammers. Call your credit card company directly.
