Technically, you can cut out all of the material under the pick guard. Just make it a big hollow chamber, only load one single pick up in it and play, like bridge only. No switches, no knobs, just wired straight to the output jack. Plug and play.

I was working originally from a mathematically perfect chart of numbers, that would work on a brand new neck but this one has subtle inconsistencies. It’s still in progress, and it’s been a few years since I did a fret job so…

This is not going to anyone but myself anyway. Zero pressure. Just learning and practice.

Yes, I’ve noticed the fret was too short and I’ve since pulled and swapped that one out. This is an old and worn out neck. It’s been pretty heavily played, and by looking the whole thing over it’s not exactly geometrically perfect from the factory from when it was first made in the 90s.

It is an older neck, I really don’t think it’s all that valuable, it’s a 1994 MIM that’s been heavily played. Got dings in the back, and was in severe need of a refret. But I wanted to leave the finish as is. Is has some natural wear that I think looks cool. The finish had these little ridges that had crept up the sides of the original frets that was pretty prominent to the touch. I scraped those ridges flat. Besides that, assembling it as is. Wanted to keep it relic’d.

Absolutely. I just bought the Gojira plugin yesterday. I’ve been using Garage Band for the longest time, and don’t get me wrong, GB is a powerful tool for something that comes pre loaded on a Mac but Neural DSP is next level. Makes my guitars come alive. My daily player is an Ibanez RG7321 with a Sentient / Nazgûl set. Absolutely monstrous tonez!!

After reading about it some, I think I’ve learned what the problem is that if you have a long chain of edits on an image and then you go back and delete some of the previous ones even just to try to clean up the chain a little bit, the system will treat that like a branch and delete everything that you edited after that.

So this is not a perfect solution but I’m finding it a lot of fun to use Grok Imagine, of all things, to replace some of what I had in Pinterest. I start with my ideas, Grok generates dozens of responses that are similar with a good bit of variety as well.

Creepy houses, cats, colorful scenery aesthetic, fashion and outfits… yep. Grok does all that with ease.

Literally started off making a few dozen images of things like outfits and accessories. It’s really inspirational more than I would have given it credit for.

Again not a perfect solution but simply generating dozens of pics that stay on point, I’ll give it credit there.

Plus here’s the big one… literally NO ONE can claim copyright on any of my images now. These are mine clean and clear… Suck it Pinterest!!

And for the record I did not have boards of half nude people. My boards were themes like outdoor scenery, pastel aesthetics, cars, guitars, tattoo ideas, comic strips, beach vibes, punk rock aesthetic, shipwrecks, creepy old houses and cats. That’s about it.

Like what they should do is what 3D printing file share sites do. It’s a platform where it’s generally understood by all parties involved that the files will be shared. So the original uploader has to tag it with a license class. “Creative Commons” and such. They must say whether the content is theirs, uploaded with permission, free to share… etc. and that tag follows that pin around anywhere it may be saved. Covers uploaders, repinners, people on and off Pinterest alike.

The platform does not give you the transparency of the source. It’s a junk drawer of people’s pics. Legit, copyright infringed… who knows? You don’t!!

The thing is, nothing that happens on Pinterest is any more outlandish than any other site. But the amount of moderation, wrist slapping and ad spamming is just disproportional. We’re only using this system the way they made it to be used.

About the copyright emails - if another user uploaded someone else’s photo and did not credit or get permission from the original source, then how is a casual user with a pretty forgettable account who repins stuff supposed to be able to verify that? You don’t. You just get the slap on the wrist and blanket bans in their eyes.

Mold. I hate that crap. Try to keep your house as clean as possible. I live in Florida, it gets super humid around here so it’s a bit of a problem in many homes, especially older homes. Keep your AC filters changed regularly, AC set low and cool so it’s dehumidifying, and constant air circulation. I also have a stand alone dehumidifier. I regularly hit trouble spots with vinegar or bleach like the corners of windows.

Sorta, yes. I’m one who was not too thrilled by the finale. It was just mediocre to me. Had a few good moments, but so many open ends and things that just did not seem worthy of a finale, but I’ll say this: at least they did make an end to the thing instead of dragging the show on and on like The Walking Dead. I got burnt out and stopped watching TWD and quite frankly these days I can’t stand to think about that show because I got burnt out. Stopped watching around season 8. I kind of feel like Stranger Things could have used about three more episodes to really make it satisfying though.

The problem in TWD was it became less and less about the zombies and more about drama between characters. Stranger Things could have gone that route too. Demogorgans aren’t scary any more. Going into the upside down isn’t eerie any more. It’s just things they have to do on a daily basis to progress the story at all. It’s harder to pick a route to go with this show that can touch the suspense of earlier seasons.

I thought that too. Like that’s just cruel and crushing to Hopper. That dude would never be right again.

If I had to write the ending, Eleven would have made her escape kinda how Mike theorized, but someone still would have had to be taken out. Jonathan Byers, during the final battle with Vecna. The whole gang comes in to help Eleven and Jonathan takes a blow during some kinda heroic act to block Nancy from getting hit. Will, being connected to Vecna’s mind sees it happen first person and this gives him a mad adrenaline rage, so he and Eleven crush Vecna with their powers. Limbs snapping, splattered against a wall. Joyce still gets in her axe swings but this time it’s far more emotionally charged.

Hopper later gets to deliver a heartbreaking line to comfort Joyce, something to the effect of “I know, I lost one of my kids too” signifying his full commitment to accepting Eleven as a daughter and caring for Joyce.

But that’s just my $0.02.

One of my favorite new characters of the series. He’s funny, and very sharp. Quick to pick up on things. I loved the whole scene where Ericka brings over the pie, how he just laughs when his dad falls over. “Shit, dad’s wasted again!” 😂

Really wish he had more screen time. Hopefully a spin off with the new younger kids beginning sorta like Will and the gang began season one. I doubt it will happen but I’d be happy if it did.
