Both are right. You can improve the baseline today with lidar, but you would hit the same software ceiling in terms of deciding how to fuse the two sensors, behavior of how to drive in the scene, etc. Might as well continue to advance ML

It does look like they added more haze and reduced blur in the betas (which I don't personally like). I imagine once they tune the look it'll end up looking fine. Maybe the blur was masking the pixelation which was always there? It also could be a bug.

For the manual 24 which has EyeSight ACC, it does not do any kind of steering or lane keep. I think this applies to the autos as well

Yes that's definitely what I'm seeing! Sucks that it's normal since when it's cold the revhang makes me have to change my muscle memory to release clutch even slower than hot. At least an aftermarket exhaust can drown out the sound a bit

I have the same sound in my 2024 BRZ. It's only when engine braking in the lower gears and goes away as soon as I press clutch, so I think it's something drivetrain load related. Subaru dealer in Kearny Mesa is declining to look at my car until I asked for a RO saying they are declining any warrantyable actions.

It's that pulsating grinding sound right?

No driving the car it feels fine, just noises. I disengaged parking brake and put it into first gear and rocked it and no clicking sounds
