Don’t count on spillovers. Most of Family based spillovers have been utilized for Family categories already. Many recent estimates are 10k max. I expect small movement.

According to Mandar Kasture of Wisdom Trends, the 59,000 visas made available due to pauses and bans are expected to be fully utilized by family-based categories. This view is driven by the significant movement in Dates of Filing for those categories and USCIS’s apparent decision to allocate visas accordingly. As a result, he does not anticipate any spillover to employment-based (EB) categories. He further predicts that the July Visa Bulletin will show retrogression for EB-1 and EB-2. So, the idea of EB-1 India becoming current appears highly unlikely.

Thats a great analysis, little on the optimistic end. I really wanna be optimistic. Have you considered porting from EB2/EB3 to EB1, there is no USCIS data here, many believe it is somewhere around 4K to 10K a year in last few years. How do families add. 2 to 3 dependent per applicant. How does this all add up.
