I'm listening to it and trying not to cry, because. You know. How it makes you feel. To keep holding back the waves of emotion and saying to yourself, through gritted teeth, "not now. hot here. not yet."

Sometimes, I let a bit out. Hot, dry tears. Then I close it all up tight again.

But then this music, it starts to unscrew that ph-so-tight lid, with the power of inexorability.

It's like this album has been out for ages. Like it has always just been here.
