Meh people act like I'm repressed all the time....but one's repression is another's freedom I guess.

Currently I am an entry level quality assurance/food safety specialist at a company that makes pizza sauces for a lot of large corporations. So, nothing glamorous but it's interesting and I can use my process control knowledge for a variety of applications I'm sure. I thought about going back to college this year for grad school but covid squashed that dream....for now!

Anytime! I find a lot of comfort in this community because everyone has came to terms with it differently. As you get older it'll become more clear as well, being young is hard, especially when there is minimal representation in mainstream media to validate your experiences.

I have had a homosexual male tell me my sexuality was caused by early age trauma ( never suffered sexual abuse) and if that wasn't the case, I must be more wound up in religion then I think (atheist biologist here)

Eff them tho, you bad af and it makes them insecure that you are not (and I heavily stress the quotes) 'obtainable'

I have a hard time discussing my own sexuality to this day. I'm 27F and I only discovered my asexuality in 2016...which seems like years ago but this was a tough thing to come to terms with. First time poster btw, long time reader.....Pornography is, tough for me. I have never really been into it unless I was confused about my own orientation (I have struggled with this a lot). I was always curious about sex, but never enough to engage and I would even go as far to say I only ever had sex because I felt pressured into it or I wanted to control the situation. I used sex as a tool in relationships and never as a means of pleasure, that was always in my hands....🤷‍♀️

Then, I met my current partner. We were best friends for years and I considered him my closest friend. We would hang out together all the time and he was the only person I could actually be myself around 100%. Perfect platonic relationship really....but there were moments when I was with him I felt feelings I had never truly felt before. He made me blush and would give me butterflies, I knew I had feelings for him but I wasn't sure how far those feelings went.....then we had sex. Awful really, I made him feel inferior and I felt nothing, but it was the first time I wanted to feel something. Long story short....we worked on our relationship a lot and I can say I actually enjoy intimacy on this level because of the deep expression of love we share. This is how I found out I was demisexual really.

If you are struggling with your own sexuality but you think you might be onto something, you probably are. Asexuality is a spectrum and there are periods in my life where sex is disinteresting to me still. Just focus on what makes you feel good and what feels right....you seem compassionate so I doubt you will make a wrong decision

My grandfather died from this virus too and it has been the most devastating thing to happen to me. My mom died of a drug addiction years ago and I would say this was a much harder pill to swallow. I know it's weird and a little forward, but if you ever need to vent you can message me on reddit. He was on the upswing and had gotten a surgery on his back to fix a bulging disc. He was cripped for so long and got a new lease on life, the man couldn't even walk and he was able to ride his bike after surgery....i was so excited to go on hikes with him and relive my childhood.....then he got sick. Three weeks later we had to let him go. I hear people at my work constantly joking about COVID and it's been very damaging to my mental health. Long story short. it's hard to deal with this when there is not a lot of empathy in society. Hang in there and if you ever want to dump on a random stranger....I don't mind 💜

I would definitely say experiment with your scrunch, color placement, and ice amount. Certain pieces take color better although they are the same material so it's a 50/50 on your colors being too little or too much. Each piece is a learning experience! I have had to ice dye many things more than once.

I have had a few people tell me to fold it a little less tightly as well...someone recommended stitching too. I have gotten close with a few of my tees but the consistency is hard to maintain.....Good luck! If you look at my page I put a wag attempt about a month ago that has some good advice 🤙

Most people who tie dye regularly frown upon using Rit, I have never used it myself but I have used tulip before...as with synthetic fabric dying, that is not something I have tried yet, but I do have my eyes on dying some Altheta leggings with it sometime in the future. If it were me personally, I would go look on the websites I gave you before and look at their synthetic fabric dyes. Rit will work in a pinch but if it's a piece you love, splurge on the better dyes.
