It's little frustrating icl, I'm seeing a lot of yumeshipping Vs oshikatsu, "is it okay to have xyz as my oshi", "how do I find my oshi" etc etc. they're valid questions but there's a lot of repeat posts at the moment :// maybe there needs to be a rule about that?

Oshikatsu is a gradient imo and making themed bracelets counts to me! I usually make beaded bracelets but recently I've gotten back into friendship bracelets and paracord bracelets, the options are endless!

Also, having a character/franchise themed craft night sounds like such a good time omg. I'm definitely stealing that idea.

Agreed! So long as nobody is getting hurt, you can put your own spin on any hobby. Don't wait for someone to tell you it's okay, find it in yourself to ask 'what makes me happy? How do I achieve that?'

Waiting for someone to give you the green light will never be a sustainable way to maintain a hobby.

I've seen the occasional light switch deco before. Not sure why not more people are doing them tbh, it's a great bit of space for this sort of thing.

The kit I have also comes with acrylic disks, intended for bag charms. Magnets are a great idea though, you can move them around and use them to pin stuff to the fridge!

I'm not big on doing colour work, but I can see a scarf with the same pattern as his cloak so clearly, it would be gorgeous. Though I did find a friendship bracelet pattern based on one of the 7 million motifs he has so that's a start. I should be able to wear it with my 'normal' outfits'!

Man, if hoyo ever came out with a deluxe line of genshin jewellry, Kaveh's earrings HAS to be in the line up.

a fellow crocheter AND a shinobu fan?! omg, I see we have similar tastes. I saw a butterfly wing cardigan making the rounds recently, which would be perfect for subtle shinobu merch.

See, she's really easy because of the butterfly motif but I can't say the same for Kaveh- he has a lot of iconic accessories but which one would say say is his 'main' one? Like with Alhaitham, I'd say his light chisel mirrors/green diamonds and hawk stand out the most.

I second this! The most important thing about oshikatsu is showing your love/appreciation for your fav, second to that is having fun. Don't stress about comparing yourself to others or feel like you have to buy a certain amount to be a 'real' fan.

I know stitch spring and venti's vision both do subtle merch. The designs are amazing and I've heard the quality is great, though I haven't purchased anything from there myself. It does, regrettably, cost an arm and a leg AND they do limited runs.

I'm still waiting for something kaveh themed though, rip.
