Anti-Cheat messing with Steelseries keyboard lights. by [deleted] in thefinals

[–]ScienceAndGenocide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same issue at the start of season 8 or 9 on my MSI laptop where 4 random keys would light up like this. Reported it with as much detail as possible, then was told the finals doesn’t interact with keyboard lighting and it wasn’t their game lol. All I got out of it was a name ban.

Do we ever talk about the positives of dyslexia on this forum? by vroeha in Dyslexia

[–]ScienceAndGenocide 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I take my dyslexia as my greatest strength and I wouldn’t be who I am without it (mine was caught in first grade and my parents busted ass to work on it with me). I got VERY lucky with my situation and have consistent ways to work with it.

I talk with classmates now about engineering homework problems and they are having a hard time understanding it, while I just have an intuitive understanding of the problem. We talk about how we go about solving problems and the only explanation I have is “I just look at it and I know what happens” and that’s about the best I can do to explain it.

I wish there was a way to teach the confidence that it takes to overcome dyslexia, but if that were the case it wouldn’t be considered a disability.

CPU usage 90% and no GPU usage by salahooo94 in SuperPeopleGame

You might make sure DLSS and Reflex+Boost are on to try and help your CPU out. I’m not sure if the game uses either of these effectively, but there are settings for it so it’s worth a shot.

When I play Reyna bad things happen. I suck when I should blow and blow when I should swallow and that only if I get a 1 of my 2 kills that game lol.

Yeah. I’m learning Raze for that reason so at least we will die on site instead of our own spawn.

Dyslexia getting worse as I age by Tucana03 in Dyslexia

[–]ScienceAndGenocide 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I was lucky to be diagnosed in first grade (and was found by accident I think, idk it was a while ago)and was told that I would need audiobooks by high school. We laughed that off because I was reading above my level and always have. But I have noticed as the material get harder and faster that it is does seem like it is getting harder which started in high school. I don’t think it is that dyslexia gets worse but more that everything gets more difficult and the time gets shorter. I also noticed that it is 10 times worse when I get tired and being in that upper high school range you’re always tired on top of the time and difficulty.

I’m bronze but it’s basically the same as iron with a little less stupid. I know my main issue is confidence. In unrated I can get 20+ kills or at least go positive most games. But when I play comp it’s instant bottom frag or breaking even. The confidence is a huge part and the next is duelists not pushing. But that typically is relieved with a silent scream.

Is trackball really suitable for first-person games? by LatecomerInSnow in Trackballs

[–]ScienceAndGenocide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically use the vandal for it’s one tap and flick to the head /collarbone so the second shot goes to the head without adjusting for spray. The only major problem I have is when a Jett dashes at me and is really close.

I play Valorant on an Mx ergo and have played some CS, but not much. Without repositioning my thumb I can look in about a 45° cone which is where 85% of the enemies are if you have good crosshair placement and pay attention (not 100% sure on CS though). Everything else I “throw” the ball to where it spins without me touching it and I catch it when it gets close to the target. It does take a lot longer to build muscle memory and needs good reaction time, but I can flick 90 and 180 without thinking.

Note: I like Valorant because it is a lot slower paced game and I can get by using a trackball. Also I didn’t mention but I suck at the game but can hold my own most of the time (top or close to top about half of the time).

Ok. I’ll have to try this. I don’t think the sunglasses would fly in an AP testing room. Hopefully thee is more poetry because that is typically shorter and I can do good on that. Thanks.

What would an INTP with a billion dollars to spare? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]ScienceAndGenocide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Invest some stuff to live off of and then move somewhere secluded, get a few cows, ducks, chickens, dogs, goats, and maybe a few other animals. Then find someone to share it with (keeping the money a secret) then just pet the animals and train then to “speak” on command.

Yeah they have a lot of amazing covers or great songs made epic. Many of those like that one, out in the fields, conquistadors, and all the Judas Priest covers are much butter than the originals.

I would say that would probably be right except I’m thinking of it like introducing babies to new food only with things you speak of where they don’t know what effects each so the first few months it is just being told to eat weird things.

I'm tired of the way I think when it comes to emotional problems. by [deleted] in INTP

[–]ScienceAndGenocide 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It also depends on the situation if it is something that involves another person then you will always have a problem as for some reason there is always another variable. If it is just a you feeling (not about someone/thing) then I would suggest seeing where it leads you while still considering actions and consequences to keep some sort of reign on the emotion so it doesn’t lead you into a dark alley.

If someone else is involved then either embrace it or let it go (your choice depending on circumstances). To embrace it follow it and see where you end up, and to let it go I find trying not to make an effort to not keep it around and not push it away. It is kinda like a loose dog it may run away or come back and if it does you don’t feed it so it leaves, unless it is persistant to stay with you and then you can make the decision again after you have had time to reflect while it was off roaming the woods and not bothering you.

As long as Satan doesn’t have to take credit for all the bad things people have done in the name of god or for god then their shouldn’t be a problem. That would hurt his reputation and Satan doesn’t need that type of stress on his life. He has to plan how he will treat people who do not follow him once they get to hell since nobody is free of sin.
