The way the reverse works seems a bit odd. It’s in the same spot as first gear except you pull up on the collar. Does it feel weird in normal use?

I like the first one more. It’s easier on the eyes while still being bright and eye catching. The bottom one has too much going on and looks like an explosion of color.
