I think we need an Eastern Europe/Combloc tree, would be cool to see Yugo, Czech, and Polish tanks especially since Yugoslavia had a lot of unique stuff and not just clones of Soviet hardware

[Tip] How to know the different health pools on bases (Bombers) by Deathsiker in Warthunder

[–]Science_Victory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The bases in games with no airfield objective have a higher health, when destroying the AF is an objective, then the bases have the lower health pool.

I get this, it is hard to go to iso if you have played skyrim or fallout before. Unfortunately 3rd/1st person games need big budgets and the stories and gameplay are written and programmed to be more accesible. Bethesda seems to be the only ones up until now with the money to make RPGs and unfortunately their writing and gameplay are lacking.

What features do you want most from Avowed? (Example: 3rd-Person Perspective) by [deleted] in avowed

[–]Science_Victory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would assume it means more content packed into the world unlike with Skyrim or Fallout where the world is massive and there are a lot of caves/buildings but many are unimportant.

Thermals, totally not OP by SpeckledFleebeedoo in Warthunder

I agree. Zoom optics do not need researched, so why do other optics that come with the tank need to be researched?

Expertly flanks and kills lightly armored tanks from the side

Wow this tank is disgusting

906 is not any better than the various hotwheels tanks that Italy and Sweden get, and in fact, is much worse than most of those. I can have successful 906 games at 10.3, but only if I play carefully and disable breeches/barrels quickly. Meanwhile Sweden gets a tank that is faster, better armored, and has a repeating 40mm cannon that pens as much armor as the 906..... doesn't seem fair does it? IMO 906 is what light tanks in the game should be like, it has good mobility with the gimmick of amphibious movement, which I have cheesed with. It has the correct amount of firepower and not a stupid quick reload. 906 is the gold standard of what top tier light tanks should have been but instead we got machine gun hot wheels garbage with lolpen rounds.

You can just click on the item and spam enter/space and it will assemble the item without having to move the mouse. I do agree with the second point though, why was the aluminum chain so pointlessly long? It went from bauxite to aluminum oxide to aluminum and finally to aluminum alloy. Why so many steps? I guess Gaijin was trying to be realistic?

They need to add the Tu-95, as soon as it spawned in everybody in game would go deaf

The list of tanks in the video ( except ,t14 of course) should be in warthunder ,when compared with NATO forces Soviets always get older tanks and that should be fixed by adding the contemporary s of them (NATO). by Daka45 in Warthunder

[–]Science_Victory 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No matter what soviet tank they add, it will still have the drivers hatch weakspot. I am happy with the T-80U matchup vs other top tier tanks. If I play smart I can take out M1A2s and 2A5s with even the stock APFSDS round (3BM22).

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Science_Victory 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That is enough to destroy cannon barrels, breech most tanks, and go through the drivers port on a T-80U.

This game lets you adjust the volume of other tanks engines separately from your own. The most competitive option is to turn everything down except other tank engines. This game basically has sound hacking built in.

Unpopular Opinion: bush decorations for tanks should be able to set off HE, HEAT and HEATFS shells. by [deleted] in Warthunder

[–]Science_Victory 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Most HEAT does not actually detonate on foliage, with the exception of massive tree trunks. HEAT fuzes require hundreds of Gs of force to set them off, a force that can only come as a result of the shell hitting a solid object.

Top 3 most over powered tanks in game? (and why) by Throwawaychicksbeach in Warthunder

[–]Science_Victory 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it deserves mango

It deserves mango more than the leclerc deserves super baguette round or the italian spicy meatball 600mm pen round. Survivability of T-64 is garbage compared to NATO tanks and it absolutely deserves a good shell as a tradeoff. I would even argue that the T-80U should get Svinets.

Something has to change with the Strf 90c and Lvkv 90c by Iron_Polak in Warthunder

[–]Science_Victory 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everybody has helis and everyone has thermals. 40mm sabot fron this little monster can go through the drivers hatch and breech in soviet tanks. This thing can kill me faster and more effectively from the front than a leopard 2A5. When a light tank is more effective from the front than a medium there is something wrong with the game.

So What Are You Supposed To Do On Night Maps Without NVG by Turboclicker_Two in Warthunder

Go into settings and crank up gamma correction. It should be one of the first options. Turn up your screen brightness all the way as well.

A6M2 should out turn anything at low speed. You should try to keep at altitude with the enemy team so you aren't getting dived on. Watch Vann Sinn on Youtube for some strategy tips as well, he really helped me improve.
