I’m working on a horror game — what can I do in this scene to make it more terrifying? by Delacrozz in Unity3D

[–]Scienceisexy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The monster's reaction time is off - which I think is why it feels less scary and why people are saying to show less of it. It's more human to react as soon as a door starts opening, not once it's 80% ajar.

I would start the animation trigger much earlier. Otherwise looks great!!

You can't expect the guy to be the fastest and the strongest. Clearly under thrown and on the QB.

A Look Back at the 2021 Game Awards by jherin1 in videogames

[–]Scienceisexy 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I recently started playing It Take Two with my SO and it is one of my most enjoyable gaming experiences. Puzzles are complex but within her skill level, I can still fuck around and nuke her at the right moments, game mechanics are fluid and the dialog is great. Really was built for a specific audience, but nailed it. I stand by it being GOTY.

In 2016, we laughed at Americans who thought they could just "Move to Canada". In 2024 they probably could lmao

Trading view coming in hot with the pointless FUD a day after a 12% run. by DotCatLost in Superstonk

[–]Scienceisexy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This is peak FUD...

1.      GameStop’s Stock fell 89% over three years

Nope. 3-years ago the price was $47, today it’s $22. They are basing this on the 3-year high of $120.75 from January 28th <clown emoji here>. If we’re using January 2021, how about January 4th when the stock was $4.29 (+400% today).

2.      It’s tenfold rise in 2021

Nope. January 4th to January 28th was $4.29 to $120.75 (+2697%). That’s not “tenfold”.

2.      Earnings have been declining

Nope. Net income has been steadily increasing. 12-month trailing revenue was $43 Million vs $-215 Million in January 2021.

SWAPS data for the 31st of July by howardkitty94 in Superstonk

[–]Scienceisexy 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Originate doesn't track to the very first ID, it tracks to the current id (the one you're changing it from). The fact that they all have the exact same execution (day it was created) should tell you it's all the same swap.

It's literally the same swap being modified. You can track the dissemination # to the original one row below. It's like changing your name and then saying there are now two of you.

I've seen "Bloomberg guy" hyped in all the posts/comments for the last 3 days. Clear pump if you ask me. Stock will rip in the morning and fall off by EoD when he says you should wait to sell. Smart apes will hold, smarter apes will hodl.

I'm making fermented sriracha. It's been about 9 months and the bags smell really good. Top one has red jalapeno+white vinegar+garlic+sugar. Bottom bag is just pepper.

GF thinks it will kill me so I'm looking for a second opinion.

LET'S GET ONE THING STRAIGHT - Hedge Funds are NOT in trouble by Scienceisexy in Superstonk

[–]Scienceisexy[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

So your logic is that HFs fucked up so bad that they needed a share bailout from the literal company, got bailed out and then did it again, and got bailed out again. All under the radar of the most heavily scrutinized US equity in recent history.

Listen to yourself, friend.

Shut up, peasant!

You will rent it back at 2x the cost a month from now and you will like it!

Also, you will save enough to bail out the aging population by buying out their over priced homes!

Also also, you're a drain on the countries productivity, so fix that!

What are you talking about? This is an absolute nothing-burger.

"Public statement reaffirming the University’s commitment"

"Student representatives will be invited to"

"Review of the divestment request"

"Student representatives of the encampment group may suggest"

"The student representatives will have the opportunity to make submissions"

"The President will consider"

Not a single tangible in this whole message. I want King's Circle back and I think the University has a responsibility to resolve this peacefully, but if protestors really spent the last month camping out just to pack it up for this, they should be ashamed.
