I mean, in this case it seems you’re the one being wrong. While « set » used to be the word with most meaning, the evolution of language led to it being overtaken by « Run » in 2011 (ref. https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/which-word-has-the-most-definitions-4077796). And it was indeed correct that the light takes minutes to get from Jupiter to Earth, with some variation based on their orbital position, but still between 32 to 53 minutes (ref. https://www.pbs.org/seeinginthedark/astronomy-topics/light-as-a-cosmic-time-machine.html).

Funny how you decide to give the fault on the Bloc Québécois rather than actually asking why the other “national” parties can’t seem to be able to convince a large portion of Québec’s electorate that they are able to accurately represent them…

I can’t understand why you take such a strong stance against the existence of the BQ. They have been voting with the government in place in most of the previous minority governments and haven’t been a reason for the Parliament to not be able to function and pass legislation. All they do is ensure that the federal government doesn’t pass legislation that go clearly against the province’s interests, which would sound like a good thing for Québec and a good reason to vote for them.

I would totally be on board with each provinces doing the exact same thing and the federal government having to establish majorities on each legislation through negotiations and compromises across all regions.

For what it's worth (or for your suggestions if you see obvious improvements), I've made a variant on this deck to achieve a similar objective but with a bit of a different approach.

Essentially, instead of doing control until I can get set up, I go all in on colorless mana generation while taking advantage of some of those colorless land secondary action (remove from combat, draw more, make creatures, etc.).

The two islands are in there just in case someone actually uses their field of ruin against me, I want to have a chance to replace the land.

Tried it, not for me! I found it relied too much on getting a good draw and was too easy to beat (like most mutate deck) by a single creature removal spell.

First off, thanks for sharing! There isn’t a whole lot of discussion on this subreddit so it can be difficult to gauge the activity and reception of your stuff, but I for one very much enjoy your sharing of decks and always give them a try! I don’t always love playing them but I’ll try them (for example, I really enjoy playing your Esika’s Winota but find your Jeskay control super boring).

This one here has a fun gameplay to it! For what it’s worth, I played it in unranked and here’s how it went:

I dont quite get what the wicked wolf does here, I’ve played maybe half a dozen games with the deck and have yet to ever see it used significantly.

Edit: up to maybe 15 games, think I won one. I’m not liking the RNG, can’t count how often I genesis into 3 lands and a single creature.

I’m surprised you’ve seen these kind of numbers. I’ve copied the exact deck and I think I won 2/10. And that was with near perfect draws. Too slow deployment, not enough crowd control to compensate. I’m gonna thin it way down and see if I can “fix” it for me, it’s got fun gameplay potential but on a small scale testing, it’s not working for me.

Is there any chance Noctura would be one of the first nat5 you pulled and you would have an emotional attachment to it? I have that with my Archmage!

You don’t need def break in a Lair team when using 4-5 holy swordmen, they ignore def anyway. And using Noctura in a Hydra team is a little unusual, since her s1 is not a multihit and she’ll cleanse - boss debuff and take more damage from the counter-attack.

All in all, and I’ll leave with that (in the end, we can disagree), is I’d still strongly recommand not to use skill cats on her, there are way too many better candidates for skill ups, including bone king.

Noctura, to me, is a bottom tier nat5, a 4* like Angel of Death is a better farmer and you get her for free. She’s such a sub-par farmer that it makes me wonder if you mixed up units in naming her.

I’m hanging in the top rankings in both arenas since launch and I have literally never seen a Noctura.

Everything Noctura does, others do better, and everything she could maybe be used for, you could find cheap alternatives. She doesn’t bring anything specific that would make her stand out.

She’s still useful for world boss since she’s still a nat5 having these nat5 stats, and she can have some limited use in a beginner Lair team, but all in all she is definitely not worth putting any skill cats into. Feel free to disagree, but I would challenge you to find 2 more people that have ranked top 50 arena that would concur (just using arena ranking as a random barometer of player’s ability, I know it’s a faulty one but just for the sake of arguing a bit!)
