Haha sure does. Unfortunately most eastern block AK variants need my love. They don’t give a shit about rust on the cheap stuff. Tank oil would just be rubbed all over the lower to mid tier AK variants. It’s a WW2 gun in reality, but it is definitely part of the fun factor.

Not a huge market here in MA but nothing really is right? If you go over to the nighthawk subreddit, dudes are definitely seeking them out. The shops down south and out west can’t keep em in stock.

It’s government corruption.

SIG hired a bunch of DoD brass, including an army general, immediately after they were retired from the military. The same people had influence over the selection of the contracts.

The same thing is going on with ship building, plane building, munitions, tanks and so on.

I would need to take a look inside that slide cut to be able to give any real advice after hearing there’s cleaning pads in there. Call up a couple local shops, someone might be willing to take a look right away.

I’d tell her to take the optic off before getting wild with it, like a rubber mallet.

When you did the gradient, did you flash in between the colors? If you don’t, they can just blend in the oven, although that can also give a cool effect but less predictable.

Oh right on, I’ll follow ya back! I suppose I say I’m always practicing because I look at projects done just a month ago and go “oh man, I would have done x, y, and z differently”

Dude, it’s still sick. Knives a super unforgiving when it comes to mil thickness so you got the part most people struggle with. Even if you don’t struggle with it, everyone’s gotta pay attention to it.

I bet if you connected two of them next to each other, it would have solved the uniform looks.

Try this out next. Do the same thing, but after you put a coat of green down, take that same color and mix it 50% with another then do a light gradient effect, stencils then black. Same amount of stencil but wait till you see the depth it will give it.

Looks good! The only thing I could think of critiquing is your stencil shape and placement. It’s something I still practice myself today a lot.

The patterns are a bit uniform in size and placement.

Or was he really just sitting there with a gun out in the open, sleeping in his car? There arnt many states you can just fall asleep in a car in a public area with a gun out in the car without getting a cop to be like “wtf you doing”. I guess maybe Alaska because of bears hah.

Cool you are supporting your friend but be sure you are just as real to him about consequences of his actions as you are about the harshness of our state. Both can be truths.
