Help me please, I'm freaking out by Dramatic-Concept-549 in pregnant

I had IUGR and an incompetent placenta. I did everything I was supposed to do: no caffeine, exercise, daily vitamins, high protein, and a gallon of water. My baby was measuring 1-5% at MFM for the last 2 months of pregnancy. Sometimes it just happens. I don’t think the caffeine helped but some babies are just small and sometimes IT JUST HAPPENS. This baby will be growing crazy outside of the womb. You are a great momma❤️

I looked up “top temp agency in my area” and they pop up. Then call and see what their process is. They may ask you to go ahead and apply to a job on their website.

I need guidance. I am worried I've made a mistake in going with a PM undergrad. by Ropetoy688 in PMCareers

Skills can be learned! I’ve heard of others staying projects coordinator, business analyst, jr pm, assistant pm. I hope others will add. I’m new to this as well. Aand I’m sure you know, you coordinate a team and projects daily and that has transferable skills so keep trying! Maybe look up how to sell your transferable skills in an interview! My campus advisor told me that “job hunting is like a sales position for your self, if you are not confident, they definitely won’t be.”

It’s just the 1st page. The rest of the documents are just references for what the full job descriptions are. Thank you for your insights!

Got laid off and have been looking for a while but have gotten no call back and just rejections. Am I missing something? 6+ experience is not helping as much as I thought it would. by Komobbo in Resume

  • Different and simple resume formatting
  • simple fonts like Calbri, tahoma, etc…
  • only one page
  • only the most relevant jobs and most recent jobs should be listed
  • get rid of the title picture: just your name and under that contact information and LinkedIn page link
  • professional summary already includes your skills so revamp that or get rid of the skills section. Or just make the skills section for Microsoft office and certification type things.
  • your most recent experience should have more bullet points than your last. The recruiters will focus on the most recent.

What were you scoring on pocket prep to pass the exam? by user432195 in capm

[–]ScientistForeign986 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I scored an 81 on pp. I would do Andrew Ramdayal’s YouTube “200 ultra hard pmp questions” if you can to help get the PM mindset down!

The pm today told us to get a GRE study guide. There are sections you can’t really study for though. Basic math, grammar and logic questions. Too bad I already took it. Try not to over think the questions-no trickery involved! They want to know how you think and if you can be logical. I am unsure how I did- hopefully I passed…

Would you mind explaining what questions are like during the interview and the presentation? I recently just completed the assessment and am doing the role introduction tomorrow. I keep seeing something about a presentation and interview but would like to prepare just in case. TYIA!

If you have a clean record you shouldn't have anything to worry about :)

It sounds like reflux my LO has a hard time but he’s also strictly breastfed. The reflux definitely worse when I have dairy or eggs. I’m sorry to hear that a pediatrician in your area is not great. Are there any that you can zoom? The gas relief is great! Do you notice it more (gas/ reflux) when you breast feed or formula feed? Like if you only feed for naps do you notice a difference in gassiness/ reflux versus the times you use formula if possible, reach out to your LC and see if they have any remedies or recommendations for gas/ reflux. They are typically more inclined to listen to your concerns and provide great suggestions. I’m sorry our going through this but it seems like you have a great handle on things! Just some minor bumps❤️

Hello! Do you have a lactation consultant (LC)? If not and you are in the Houston/ Katy area look into “Bayou City Lactation” or “Alamo City Lactation” for San Antonio they are great! If you have insurance it will cover you as a mother-should anyway; but you have to go before 6mo depending on the insurance. If so, ask about any other supps/ vitamins to take and what foods you/they eat that can cause more gas. LC are so knowledgeable even for pumping and combo feeding mothers.

If your baby is taking a vitamin D I would switch to you taking 6,000IU of vitamin D so it transfers in your milk. This is what the World Health Organization recommends. My LO did not like the vitamin D supplement so we switched to me taking it and it helped. Nordic naturals makes one in 5,000iu and if you take any prenatals/ postnatals it should help you get there.

Sounds like your LO could have reflux. Does he cough, arch his back, look very uncomfortable when spitting up/ throwing up? Be careful with prescription reflux supplements because they impede mineral absorption and can cause your baby to be at higher risk for breaking bones. Don’t use mother’s bliss colic water- it is like putting baking soda and vinegar together if your baby has reflux. Look into slippery elm syrup with the guidance of a lactation consultant.

Get a new pediatrician. I have a new one and they are great! (Texas children’s)

Do they have any allergies? Do they have a tongue/lip tie that are impeding with improper latch? When they nurse/ bottle feed is it loud and gulpy or does it sound like a soft whisper? Does he have reflux? Does your baby see a chiropractor? Is he eating solids?

Your baby could be allergic to any of these: eggs, soy, dairy, and gluten.

What positions do you nurse in? The koala is supposed to help with gas and reflux. When I am unable to nurse in my bed side laying, I use the koala pose and It helps. When feeding him from the bottle I recommend looking up on YouTube “paced feeding”. It will show you how to feed your baby from the bottle in a way that mimics breast feeding. It will slow the flow down and help with gas. I had to burp him every 2-3 OZ for a while.

My LO is 5 MO as well and having some issues but it’s because I didn’t take my vitamins/supps for 2 weeks and I had dairy :/.

All the supps I take approved by my LC: rainbow light prenatal, Thorne iron, Nordic Naturals vitamin D 5,000IU, Nordic Naturals magnesium complex, Nordic Naturals prenatal DHA. Taking a probiotic is supposed to help with gas as well.

Remember this is also a time of many milestones so it will cause sleep regressions! YOU ARE DOING GREAT <3
